I've always loved Chili's. the bbq back ribs are absolutely wonderful! the waiters and waitresses here are very kind, patient & helpful. the service is a bit slow on monday nights but the food doesnt disappoint! i recommend the ribs and burgers and onion strings for appetizer (:

The service blows beyond what you can imagine. Chilli's is not like a fancy sit down and eat place. But at least the waiters seem to think so. SO MUCH ATTITUDE. It took us good 15 mins to be seated when the whole restaurant and bar area was empty. We ended up seating ourselves in the bar area in the end. And on the top of it, our waitress was mean. She came new on her shift and kicked us out of the bar area (claiming the shift is changing and how she thought we've been there for a long time) since she can't rake up the tips (we were served by the earlier waiter). This place is a fucking joke. Avoid please.

I love the desserts here, mango ice tea was the worst, nachos and wings were ok.

4 stars for the food, 1 star for the service. The food itself here is like any other Chili's, so there's not much to say about it. But as far as service goes, it could be improved by a long shot. My bf and I came here on a Tuesday afternoon around 3pm, and the service was very slow. My main issues were how long it took our server to come over for the first time (and get our drink orders), how he didn't know the exact price difference of a couple of drinks (and didn't bother checking), how my fountain Coke took longer than my bf's margarita, and how our server somehow mixed up our nachos with quesadillas. That's right--he even said "THE QUESADILLAS LOOK LIKE NACHOS" after we brought it to his attention. I know I'm severely nearsighted, but I can tell the two apart even without my glasses on. WTF?! If you're limited on time, don't bother eating here. Just order your food to-go.

Next time I get the urge to go somewhere different, I'll try a completely different restaurant, not just a different branch of a familiar chain. I'm going to excuse myself by saying I really like iced tea, and I really love that I can take a gigantic cup of iced tea to go when I leave. This is entirely subjective, but it was a bunch of little things that added up to one super annoying experience. -I was put on the waiting list and then forgotten about. This was made obvious to me when the original host spotted me, did a double-take, apologized, and immediately sat me. -I was sat directly underneath the A/C. Like, a 1' x 2' vent opening pointed directly down on me. Normally I wouldn't mind something like that since it's been warm lately. But geeeeeeez was it cold. When my soup came out, you could see steam coming off the surface. After awhile, I got them to turn it down so I could get warm. -The music was so loud that my server couldn't seem to hear me. I requested extra lemon and got 1 lemon wedge. When I asked again, he waited until my food came out to bring them to me. -I ordered a soup and salad and got charged for the salad twice. As in, he rang up a soup&salad combo, and then charged me for a side salad. There was more, but it's not worth discussing. The double charge on the check was the final straw, and I wound up talking to management. I told the manager no single thing pissed me off, but there were a lot of little things about the service that were super annoying. To my surprise, the manager offered me a little gift cert for my trouble. That certainly helped rectify the dining experience, but I think I'll be taking that gift cert to my regular Chili's next time I get a craving.

Chilis itself has gone down hill, feels like a dennys atmosphere horrible service and low quality meals

  • Roy N.

Chili's used to be a reasonable place for a hamburger and other items but has really gone down hill. I ordered an "Old Timer". Asked for medium-rare but was cautioned it might be on the red side. I said pink was OK, not red. I was told I should order medium and that would be pink inside. I said I wanted pink but not brown. Hamburger was brown and dry inside and black on the outside. I was willing to accept the inside but the hard black on the outside was not acceptable. Sent it back and did not want a replacement. They did remove the item from the bill. Paying the bill was a test of patience. With so many other places with good food I am unwilling to go back.

This Chili's is awesome with our deal on the menu they gave us two free Golden AMC tickets and accepted my free desert coupon! :)

They must have changed their chicken fajitas recipe recently. They are not nearly as good as they once were.

HORRIBLE!! We sat in the bar earlier this afternoon around 5 when it was not busy. AC was our server, we only know his name because it was on the check. He gave us silverware and asked what we wanted. As my bf started to say "a tall Sierra" AC cut him off asking for his ID. That's fine asking for it but don't cut off your customer. He was extremely pushy trying to get us to order right away. When I asked for another margarita he ROLLED his eyes at me and said "anything else?" yeah jerk we're going to order. So I ordered the margarita chicken with avocado slices and my bf got the Monterey chicken. Mine didn't come with the avocado slices and my bf's rice was stone cold like it had been sitting on the line for awhile. He barely ate his food and asked for a box almost instantly. I was still working on my dinner when AC kept asking if I was done. I had my fork in my hand, obviously I'm not done. We saw him one other time roll his eyes at another table. We go to Chilis all the time and we've never had such terrible service. It was obvious that AC did not want to be there and he made us feel like we were a burden. My bf and I have been severs for years so we know how you're supposed to act with your customers. AC is a shitty server. Good luck if you get served by him

I usually don't go to here unless a group of friends really wants to go. I ended up coming here for a friend's birthday and finally found something that the hubby can eat that's gluten free and vegan. Of course, it was a salad. However, for him it was pretty good since most salads he can eat are house salads which get really boring after a while. He ordered the Caribbean Salad: Fresh pineapple, mandarin oranges, dried cherries, green onions, cilantro, sesame seeds and honey-lime dressing. -Chili's Website. It was pretty good and I honestly wish I'd ordered that instead of my black bean burger (which was good but just average compared to Red Robin). So, at least there is something other than the black beans that he can eat here!

WOW is this a Chilis? Half the food was cold. Seasoning was off from the other Chilis I visit. The staff was hanging out in the bar while my iced tea was empty. I would have had a cocktail, but for some odd reason, this Chilis doesnt have even close to the same liquor selection as most others, so I got tea. Also heard, what looked like the Manager, a heavy set transgender( I think) lady with glasses barking orders at staff, and I heard her say the F word at least twice while there. Sloppy management, Sloppy Chilis. I wont be back.

Five stars for the super nice female manager at the night shift. I ordered something and it came with an extra something on the plate that I'm allergic to. now I can't eat anything on my plate. My mistake for not checking what comes with the meal. The manager was nice enough to make me a new order and had me paid for on only. I tipped around 100%. I hope that was enough.

    (5)
  • Rao P.

First of 5 stars for the server, he was a bearded dude with tattoo on his hand. We went in at 8:30 and left at 11:30, Yes you heard it right it was 3 fudging hours. The manager was not even courteous to apologize/stop by and ask for some feedback. I am never going back ever again even if it is the last place left to go. I do have to give 1 star to the fact that we were a big group of 12 people and they had an awesome table to let us sit and dine together. Sitting at a place like chili's for 3 hours was the worst nightmare you can go through on a Sunday night. Whoever managed the place yesterday night can retire already IMHO. Chili gave a chill down my spine and I would never go back again.

came here with friends and family it was pretty crowded so we got seated outside we sat down and waited 15 minutes for our drinks while freezing in the patio... they took over 1 hour to bring our food! it was horrible I was super cold and the food made us all sick

This place was a go to before BJ's arrived in Sacramento. It is still good but there are so many choices now. They have good food and it's always fun to go watch a game here or stop in before a Kings game. Some of my favorites are the chicken crispers, chips w/queso, ribs or fajitas. The burger is not bad but there are specific burger places that I enjoy a little more.

    (3)
  • Katlin L.

It's hard to give this place more than 3 stars just because none of them are worth more than 3 stars really. The food is okay- as good as any other chilis, but no better, really. Their presidente margarita is pretty good- the blackberry especially. Seating is fine, it usually gets pretty crowded around game times and for happy hour. Overall, this chilis is as good as the others, fine tex-mex food.

Delicious dinner tonight! His is one of my favorite chili's. Always clean and inviting. Special thanks to our wonderful server Yulissa! Amazing service!

All the staff was very welcoming and friendly here. They were pretty attentive to us during dinner. Our food however, took an inordinate amount of time to come out. It did taste good though. As a restaurant, Chili's is definitely not one of my favorites simply for the lack of choices in their menu. I find each time I go the menu changes very little and the food is not the best ive tried.

    (4)
  • Red Tail H.

Blech. The staff were all very nice and helpful; too bad it didn't help the food. When I was eating there regularly around a decade ago, the quality of the meat was pretty good. As was the flavor. These days? The quality's gone downhill, and the meat (specifically the beef fajitas) is *swimming* in salt. The onions were "flavored", so to speak, with something nastily lemon flavored. I had to drown the meat with cheese & guacamole to get myself to force it down. Did I already say blech?

Some restaurant chains are intriguing. Take Chili's for example. It is nationally ubiquitous and represents a good cross section of our countries' (via various test markets and polls) views on what middle America is, foodwise. So the co-workers and I decided the we wanted the taste of good ole fucking USA for lunch. Burgers and wings were on the mind. As we all noted on the menu, there is liberal use of English sprayed into items where you'd not normally find them. Examples: Dippers Poppers Crispers Explosion Put those words next to any entree and you've got instant pop culture Americana eatin'! So food wise, the place is a 3 star all the way. Burgers, country fried steak, wings, artichoke dip, all solid but also in the limbo of neither bad nor great. I guess it just fills a certain void. So why the 4th star? Well unlike all the other reviews of awful service, we actually got excellent service. Yes I said excellent. Checked on us routinely but not intrusive, kept our drinks filled constantly (4 refills just for myself), and had our food paced in a timely manner. It was better service than you'd get at many finer dining establishments. we were well taken care of. So a diamond in the rough? maybe. if he makes his way to the fine dining scene he could definitely cash in. I've been recently blessed with lots of good personalized service recently and thinking that Chili's would end that. What happened? I was proven wrong.

I wish I can give a 0 star. I have been to Chili's before but this place is probably the worst place I've even been to. The service was beyond slow - looks like the servers also bus the tables. When we went it, we waited for someone to find us a table. Then we waited for the waiter to clean the table. I had go looking for the waiter to take our order. I had to go searching for our waiter to get the bill. I had to go around to ... - you get the idea. The food was typical Chllis. I am just not sure how they still stay in business!!

Hook it up w/ the chicken fajitas for lunch. We go here for lunch at least once a week as it is quick and easy. I am rockin the weight watchers so i can be the weest beast ever. The point is, you can look at the nutritional value on the website of what they have to offer, run the #'s in weight watcher and see what the value is. For example is the chicken fajitas 7 or 8 pts done deal. The 2 for 20 works out well. I am into it! Go Chilis go!

THIS SHIT IS ABOUT TO GET REAL. And I used to be an employee of a Chili's, so I do have pride in this establishment. Not this certain location, but point is when I worked here I had a lot of fun. This Chili's, god knows why - is the meeting ground often for me and my friend Martin because it's in between Cupertino and my place. And so... Probably, the stupidest idea for corporate restaurant is to do team serving. They serve catering style here (as in you get helped by a group), I don't know how the tips work out, but it's not working for them. The host sits you down and tell you three people's names that will be serving you. I didn't meet one for about 10 minutes. I'm sure the thought process between the team was that the other member got to me already. And even though, I was waiting for someone - I would loved a drink. And I waited. Nor, could I tell who was who on the team - because no one said their name. Having a shitty server is one, but having a shitty team of servers - just adds insult to injury. It's like being a fan of sports and watching your team suck through the whole game as a unit. I get served half a beer because their keg was out, and then as the second "half" comes out, I've apparently gotten hooked up. No, boo - I just wanted you to serve me a whole beer like I ordered. My companion's water came out and "Oh, dude - there's something floating in this one, I'll be back." It's all a case of insult to injury here. And service here is SLOW SLOW SLOW. It's a bit of a different vibe at the one in Santana Row, so maybe that will be more manageable. Food can be excuseable with mistakes, because, after all it's meant to be mediocre. But I have a hard time of trying to figure out an adequate tip when service is at the point of slightly offensive with no comprehension.

We went here for dinner last night and I was not impressed as usual. Their kid's menu choices are always disgusting and everything tastes undercooked or slimy. It's such a long line and it's not worth it because the food is gross. Chili's is a place you go when there's absolutely no other option.

    (2)
  • Christina L.

I went here with my family of 4 and they decided to seat us next to a bunch of frat boys.. out of all the empty seats in the restaurant. Our server didn't take our order until 15 minutes after we came in and another server didn't give us our water until 10 minutes after we asked. Anyhoo, the food is cooked perfectly except for my mom's well done steak. It was super dry and didn't look appetizing. Would I come here again? Sure, but not for the service.

Just another run-of-the-mill chain restaurant. 2 stars for the long wait to get the food and to pay for it. 3 stars for the satisfactory grub. 4 stars for the good service from the cheerful waiters.

Wanted to try for a while. BIG NO. Had Cheesestake sand & daughter (12) had a plain cheeseburger. She took 2 bites & ew. How do you screw up a cheeseburger? Mine came in a PUDDLE of grease. No kidding. It tasted like a Mc D's paddy with dripping greasecheesee on top. I would have walked out, but I didn't want to embaras my kid. Table was sticky & they PUSHED alcohol as soon as I sat down. Really? A mom walks in with her daughter & he didn't quit when I said WE don't drink. He insisted on showing the drunks menu. Really? You know I see the bar, I saw the alcohol menu, isn't that enough. Like I'm going to drink & drive at all let alone with my kid. They probably want people drunk so they can't taste there slop. Food came so fast even my kid thought MICRO. Enough said.

Sometimes, you just need a Chili's fix! My hubby and I frequent this particular Chili's, because unlike other Chili's, they make my Chicken Quesadillas the old school way, on request. We always come here and see Eduardo in particular, because he knows how to customize my order to the old style, and he provides excellent service every single time. Besides recommending the Chicken Quesadillas (no bacon, but with onions and lots of pico de gallo), I would recommend the Baby Back ribs, however, be aware that the ribs are not enough for you bigger appetites out there - the portions are too small every time we order the ribs. For appetizers, I'd recommend the boneless buffalo wings if you like it spicy. For dessert, I'd recommend the molten chocolate cake, although sometimes the pound cake can taste old, so be on the lookout for that and feel free to tell your server if it tastes below par!

    (4)
  • Padre C.

Chili's has bought the idea that the new American flavor is spicy. Nearly every entrée is overly peppered and salty. Why are they hiding their food behind excessive spice The staff is friendly and very young. The noise level is ear-splitting, just below the pain threshold. Whatever you order, don't look up the calorie count.

July 5th was my 7 year anniversary, My boyfriend and I decided on Chili's because he likes the presidente margarita and I am in love with their chips and salsa. We normally go to the cupertino location on Stevens Creek but when we got there we found out they have just closed down?? Ok I get it. So we decided to make the trip out to this location. We walked in around 4:45pm. We sat there until 5pm at the host station and NO ONE had even come up to us, greeted us, or even sat us. WTF!!! There were 3 employees at the bar doing..... nothing. One guy even looked over at us and then continued picking his nose. We decided to walk out and leave. In my opinion all Chili's locations have gone down hill where customer service is involved, it's to bad because I really do like their food!

Do not go to this Chilis!! I have been a patron of Chilis for a long time. The local Chilis in my neighborhood closed and this was the closest to my area. I came on a Thursday night. There were several open tables. The host greeted us and told us it would be a 25 minute wait. I pointed at the empty tables and said. "There are three empty tables right there" To which the host reply's the manager doesn't want me seating people yet. After waiting half an hour with three other parties of 2-3 people, we were finally seated in the the same table I pointed out when I walked in. And I watched that table, there was nothing to be done. It had already been bused and cleaned when we walked in. Nevertheless, they insisted on making us wait. No sooner were we seated then our waiter asked for our drink orders, then insisted on our appetizer order. We hadn't even opened the menus yet. I ordered a new menu item, the Parmesan crusted steak. The portion size was insulting. My entire table was aghast when the served it to me. This steak was no larger then a credit card. The broccoli it came was a larger serving. Even the piece of toast they served with it, was larger. Our waiter was not inviting at all. The table next to us was so disappointed they tipped only a single dollar. Commonly known as the most insulting tip you can leave. I will continue to be a patron of Chili's, but I will never return to this location again. There management team has some ridiculous delusions of grandeur, pretending that they run a 5 star restaurant. I think they need to visit another friendly neighborhood Chili's and remind themselves of the atmosphere that the public has already come to enjoy and expect.

I've definitely experienced better that's for sure..better food AND better service. For some reason, every time I go there whether it's to dine in or take out, I get the WORST SERVICE! 1: I go there with my sister and cousins and she messes up on two orders and it takes them almost 15minutes to get out the food. We're halfway done eating and of COURSE the two people that eat the slowest has to get their orders messed up ...so we have to wait for them to get their corrected dishes and for them to eat it while we sit there twiddling our thumbs and sipping on our waters. The waitress gives us a bad attitude as if we messed up the order. . .shoot, bad customer service that's for sure! 2. I call in an order to pickup. It's a very simple order, the cajun chicken pasta (LUNCH SIZE) since they were having this promo of all these lunch dishes for $7 (not bad not bad). First off I go to the pickup window area and have to wait 5minutes (not too bad) for someone to help me. Finally, someone comes out and she gets my order. When she tells me how much it is, I'm thinking, "Wait, no way is tax $3!" I tell her that can't be right because I orderd the lunch size. She then snaps back at me to tell me that I didn't tell her I wanted the lunch portion. ..I'm thinking..okay just give me my dang pasta..it's not a big deal to fix the problem YOU made when you took my order and heard incorrectly. She goes to the back to fix my order and of course, she just dumps out half the pasta (more like 2/3 of the pasta) and the sauce is dripping all around the box and on the bag. I ask her for another bag and she gives me this look of, "Can you be even more annoying and ruin my day just a little bit more?" I'm thinking..sure why not..you screwed up my order and you're giving me crap for it (and I might have to add I was having a bad day at work). . . So I go back to eat my food, didn't taste too cajun-y and was kind of bland. . .and I decide to go on the website to give them customer feedback. I tell them how it went down and 2 weeks later, I get an apology letter AND $20 gift certificate to Chili's...SCORE! :) Maybe I should give them an extra star for that? . .ehh. . .nah, I'll just use the gift certificate and hope I get better service and food so then I can update this review to a 3-star review :)

Despite what other people have written here, I had a rather good experience at this location even though it was packed at 6pm on a Friday. The food is the same as it is anywhere else of course because Chili's is a chain. In the waiting area there are books for kids to read and their food came out quick from the kitchen. The adult food didn't take long either. The waitress did her job well.

SERVICE IS SLOW.............ridiculously slow. i don't even know why i bother coming back here when i know it produces the same result everytime. it's lunch hour. I'm dressed in business wear, you should already know that i get a one hour lunch just from common sense. when i went today the lunch rush wasn't that bad. there weren't very many people. My coworker and I ordered the 2 for 20 deal. Appetizer and Entree for two people for 20. It took about 15 for the Texas Fries to come out (super small mind you). I'm staring at the clock bc normally during my lunch hour i get my whole order within about 15-20 minutes leaving some time to eat and drive back. I got my appetizer in 15. starting to worry. Our waiter does NOT check up on us the whole time we're there just waiting. It's pretty obvious that we're on a crunch... business clothes, i'm checking my phone every 3 seconds... and instead of acknowledging us (a simple "sorry about the wait guys") would have sufficed he does NOTHING. WE GOT OUR FOOD 35 MINUTES FROM THE TIME WE ORDERED. I got the cajun chicken pasta and my coworker got the Chicken Fajitas. I felt my pasta, the plate was heated under a lamp bc it was warm BUT the pasta was cold; rubbery cold. I asked him to give me a box so i could pack this sh*t up myself. My coworker had the waiter pack it up against my advice (you never know what waiter is a guerilla waiter... i'm not trying to get fluids in my food). I kept asking myself if i was just being impatient but hell, we've gone to bigger restaurants during lunch like Cheesecake Factory and gotten back on time. What's up with that???? I understand that it takes time to prepare food. I don't want anything undercooked and of course I take into account the chefs and the amount of people at the restaurant. BUT NOT BUSY? SMALL DISHES? COLD FOOD?! NO CHECK UP?! Chilis your manager would be so pissed (or should be pissed) to know that during a peak hour like lunchtime your prime waiters aren't on their game and whatever is going on in the back isn't performing like they're getting paid for what they do. What is going on Chilis????? Really.... What's up?

    (2)
  • Stephanie C.

Normal for a Chili's but if you are above 21 and don't order anything remotely alcoholic, you get an odd look from a quarter of the waitstaff. Food tends to be alright but at night, can the place be very noisy as well as crowded - especially whenever a game is on

Gotta say, Presidente Rita rocked! Tony was an exceptional server, Fajitas were yummy and again my Chix Crispers were cold, really Chilis, really. Ben the host was so friendly and fast. Thanks, Tony and Ben.

I just had lunch here and the service was excellent. The food was so-so but it is standard Chili's fare. I noticed that they do not put calories on the menu and asked a manager why. She said that it was a corporate decision that has nothing to do with this location but that Chili's believes they do not have to comply with California's menu labeling law because they are based in Texas. She was very friendly in the way she explained it and I was impressed. However, I will stop going to Chili's in general since I do not like to give money to companies that believe they don't have to comply with local laws. This law in particular is one I agree with and I don't want to have to cross-reference a menu item with a handout or a web site.

Ahh.. Chili's.. What to say about Chilis.. The experience is different at every location. Here it's all about mediocrity. The last time I went (Wednesday..) our server was annoyingly quiet. It's a very loud place and she spoke like she was whispering, and when my entire family and friends were saying,"What? Huh?" her volume still remained unchanged. Food came out at different times. At least the fajitas did.. there is no reason for this. I understand that they have to call for them at the window unlike the rest of the menu items that are just punched into the computer and are all on the same time thing, but a good server should just anticipate the fact that if you know how long the food is going to take, you call for the fajitas in enough time to have it all come out at the same time. I feel like the servers here couldn't hack how busy it was. I mean I guess i'm being harsh, but the chilis in cupertino is SO MUCH better. Also, i'd like to comment that the chilis in cupertino has better looking people working there.

Chilis... Don't expect great food and service... If you go here with the attitude my food will be average and the service will be very slow... THEN you might enjoy your food with a good mood! Take out is not too bad here...

Waiting time is long. Fajita is too small, not enough for one people. Rib eye is good.

Reliable burgers, tasty combinations of toppings. Fajitas are popular, but I find the chicken or beef overly salty, almost processed-tasting (coming pre marinated from the central supply, no doubt). Black bean burger substitution works very well, and you can get mashed potatoes or veggies if you are watching your diet. Drinks are enthusiastically refilled, and the 'Two for Twenty Dollars' is a decent deal.

NEVER go here! Rude manager, slow waiters, disgusting food. I had vegetarian fajitas and I SWEAR I tasted beef with each bite. We sat and waited and waited for refills and new chips/salsa. They messed our order up, and wouldn't even talk properly when I had an issue with the bill. I will NEVER go here again.

I like to sit in the bar area when I come here. The bar staff is usually very friendly, and I really dig that they bring water without even asking for it. Never had a problem with them getting my order correct, but it does sometimes take asking a time or two for extras, like honey mustard.

I really don't feel like writing a long, drawn out review as to why my first experience sucked. I will sum it up in one sentence: I came here with La Novia because her good friend and her adorable daughter wanted to meet here. We got there 10 minutes before them around 3:30, grabbed a table, her friend and adorable daughter finally arrive, we order drinks, order food, drinks come, drinks go, food still not there, order more drinks, place starts to fill up, feeling buzzed, food finally arrives, food is cold, food is not good, it's depressing, we point this out to server, manager comes out, says sorry, replaces all of our cold meals with hotmeals, but we don't eat til almost 6, and the bill still comes out to nearly $90 dollars as most of it is booze, I pay, leave, and then ask La Novia: "Why did we come here, again?" "Because my friend wanted to." "Oh yeah." Hey, at least the company was good. As for the food and service: not so much.

Worst Chili's ever, slow service, forgot my order, and there was hair in my dish. Won't be back The San leandro one is much cleaner.

I noticed an interesting dichotomy at this Chili's location. Within seconds of your soda level dropping below half full, a new full soda was sitting next to it, ready to go. However, you never get enough tortillas with the fajitas and no further ones are offered once you've consumed the final one and still have a bunch of meat and fillings left. Fajitas were fine, service was prompt and sodas were plentiful.

::queue commercial jingle:: I want my money back, money back, money back, money back... Chiliiiiiiiiii's money back please. (baritone voice) and barbecue sauce... 3 stars for 3 reasons: - choose 3 for 9.99 meal - happy hour prices - chicken fried steak gravy... i think its made of crack

I've been to various Chili's before, and have gotten varying experiences with the food/service quality. That being said, at this particular Chili's the service was TERRIBLE. Our server took forever to get our food and provide us our check. Half the time, he'd be at the bar, joking around with his fellow waiters and bartenders. Keep in mind that we were sitting in the "bar area" of Chili's, which was practically empty save for a few folks who were finishing up their dinner. So, it shouldn't have taken THAT long for him to get our food, or refill our drinks! About the only thing he was good at was getting our DRINKS quickly, so that right there saves this review from being a ONE STAR. As for dinner, I had the House Salad with a bowl of Chicken Enchilada soup, both of which were surprisingly tasty. Getting the check to finish up our night was a CHORE, since our waiter was nowhere to be found. When he did come back, he chatted up his buddies again, and didn't bother to stop by our table to see if we needed anything else. I wouldn't mind coming back here (and giving it a better review), as long as I can get a different waiter next time.

ZEROOOO STAR if I COULD! This is the worst Chili's Grill & Bar I've ever been to! We keep coming back bc this is the closes location. The last four times I have been there, their services sucks everytimee!!! Even though there was no waiting line, none of the workers even acknowledged that we were just standing there waiting. Some of the employees were standing around or just walk right by us as if they didn't even see us! One of the time that I was there we had this server who was so forgetful I had to ask for ketchup, ranch and extra napkins a couple of times to finally get any. The last time we went was a couple of days ago and I have made up my mind to NEVER come back to this location! My fiance came home with a realllllllllly bad stomachache. This place sucks!!!

Nothing cRRRRazy here, just another Chili's you can find anywhere. Service was good, but if you go to a chain restaurant like this, you have to not mind the whining of little kids who don't want this, but want THAT. Kind of funny, I guess. Wasn't going here for anything special, just the unlimited salad, soup and chips to share with mis amigos. Chili's is nothing more or nothing less of what I expect. I guess that would be a good thing!

I've gone here a couple times now. It is a good place to have nearby when a sit-down restaurant is the desire but at a time most sit-down restaurants are closed - and of course I don't want to go to Denny's. I wish they still served their Awesome Blossom but oh well... the cheese sticks are a good appetizer and and I usually find myself getting the chicken or steak fajitas. We better make that cadillac style (includes black beans and rice). The presidente margarita is good if you're looking for a drink. No problems with the service here - haven't had to wait to be seated yet, which is always nice.

I don't like Chilis. It's too chainy, too corporaty and the food is just plain bad. Everything is too oily, too greasy, too... just not good. BUT, I love their dessert. Specifically the molten chocolate cake. This is probably one of my favorite desserts anywhere. A huge, rich, warm chocolate cake, with warm liquid chocolate on the inside, topped with a huge ball of vanilla ice-cream and a hard-shell chocolate coating. Absolutely the best!

I always get the 2 for $20 whenever I go to Chili's. I order the burger and it was greasy and tasteless. I could taste the meat but that was all. The service was okay. We were seated right away but had to wait 20 minutes for the server to serve us. The waitress was friendly but doesn't make up for the long wait time. (It wasn't even a busy day) I would go back here if I had... I would probably go to other places first and this would be my last resort.

I really like Chili's it goes back to the days where my friends and I would go together and pretty much all order the same things and just hang out. Aww the memories.... Anyway most Chili's are the same because they are a chain, but between this one and the one on Stevens Creek, I like this one better, because the service is better, and for the most part I never really have to wait long here. Food is the same

I don't know why it takes them so long to serve the food when it's all precooked and microwaved. Personally, I avoid places like Chili's and Applebees. Don't understand why so many come here to eat sub-par food. BTW, I had to come here for a dinner get together. Otherwise I avoid at all cost. Sorry Chili's.

Went there the other day for lunch, and I haven't seen such poor service, in I don't know how long. Our waitress hardly ever came over, and was pretty rude. She accidentally spilled my salad dressing all over the table, and didn't even bring me more... I had to ask twice! She spilled the whole thing! The chicken was really dry, I was waiting for a refill the whole time, and it took forever to get change back from our check. I won't go back for lunch, or probably to this location.

This was the first time I ever tried a Chillis restaurant, since I never really had the initiative. Since I was down in Santa Clara for the day to visit my lil bro, we decided to stop by here because I was starving to death. (And also I've never been to a Chillis restaurant) So let's see: Interior: 5 stars The outside of the building doesn't look like much in broad daylight but once you step in, the interior gives you a home-like feeling. A definite plus, especially if you're here with your brother :]. Not to mention, we were sitting by the window, and it was a pretty chilly day (LOL), so one of the waiters came up and asked us if we wanted the heater by the window to be on. I didn't even know there were heaters by the window! But who cares! It was a very nice interior layout :] plus heater. Yay yay! Service: 5 stars The waiter was especially nice. I was about to order a Steakhouse Sandwich w/out Onions and with some bits of Avocado. The waiter gave me a face and suggested that I didn't put avocados because it would make the sandwich soggy. I listened to his suggestion and just had it plain w/out Onions. It was the best decision ever. I saw someone else, at another table with the same sandwich WITH Avocado... and indeed it did look soggy :[. Luckily for me, thanks to him, I saved 75 cents, AND a sandwich :]. He came back often as well to fill up our drinks :]. Food: 5 Stars Steakhouse Sandwich, mmmmmmmmmmmmm. No Avocados? Yay! :]. It was delicious. We also ordered appetizers as well. I don't exactly remember what it was that we ordered but it had something to do with cheese and beans and we dipped chips into it. (we had salsa as well) IT WAS DELICIOUS :3. All in alll 5 out of 5 :]. Yayy!

Don't go there. Waiter took our order and disappeared. After flagging down another waiter after waiting for 45 minutes, food finally arrived. It was cold, crusted over, and appears to have left sitting for way too long. Sent it back and asked manager to try again. Another 30 minutes later, they tried to serve the same plates to us. Went to talk to manager again near the kitchen. Place looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. A call to the health department might be in order.

If I could rate this place no stars I would. First my soda was flat, then the taste of my fajitas was bad, real bad!!! It tasted like the flat iron pan had never been cleaned & if they did try to clean it the chemical was still on it. It was probably both. My dinner mate's enchilada soup arrived cold, it was actually solidified on top & had formed a skin. They replaced the soup with a hot one, & then we tried the chicken chili soup (I think that's what it's called), it looked good in the picture, bot OMG when they brought it to the table,it was cold, very salty, & resembled dirty dish water with avocado slices! Needless to say the 2 of us feel sick right now so I need to stop writing because I could go on. The waiter was very nice & apologized & had the fajitas taken off the check. Don't even waste your time it's HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Came here for lunch with the Mrs. and had their two for $20 deal. The food is exactly what I expected for a Chili's, however the service was a little slow for the amount of customers there at that time.

Fairly new to Yelp here... and honestly, my extensive diversity in food experiences are lacking -- this wary traveler has covered about as much territory in the food kingdom as a nomadic tribe that dwell's within the continental shores of Australia. Obviously mate, I use the term, "Nomadic", very loosely. This particular migration brought me to the corporate commonwealth of, Chili's Grill & Bar. Accompanied by a good friend and fellow excursionist, we enter dressed down in casual Saturday wear; then instinctively maneuver passed the native guide..[hostess], and make our way to a booth in the bar. Thirsty from our travels, we both go with a tall glass of Bud Light and an order of the Skillet con Queso. In one fell swoop our waitress drops off our frosty beverages and this oval plate consisting of tortilla chips, salsa, and some bean concoction that smelled divine. At this time we place our entree order; I go with the BBQ Bacon-Ranch Burger and my companion decides upon the Cajun Chicken Pasta. The friendly waitress jots down our order and exits; leaving us with this newly discovered resource that would eventually lead to the blissful demise of the transmembrane proteins on our tongues. *grab chip, dip chip, eat chip* Skillet con Queso!? Good lawdy!? We struck gold; this blended dipping sauce, consisting of velveeta cheese and refried beans is more magical than Gandalf the White! The tortilla chips and salsa, which are indigenous to the plebian continent of Food Max are nothing to write home about, but the queso - the queso - the QUESO!! *executes a world-class grito mexicano* Skillet con queso is to Chilis what the coca plant is to Colombia. Everything. (burger and pasta were good too)

Worst chicken tenders I have ever had. Chicken enchilada soup tastes like melted cheese mixed with sour cream. Not as good as you'd think :(. Service was frustrating. My food was ready at least 20 min after they said it would be (take-out).

It says a lot about a restaurant when a group of people are lined up in the rain to be seated. I've been to this location maybe 10 times, most experiences have been good, especially when there isn't a crowd. But this time was a little bit different. With a 30 - 45 minute wait, we opted for immediate seating in the bar area. Was a bit loud, but I think that is the nature of the restaurant, not just the bar. The server was prompt and helpful. We were indecisive, but decided to split steak fajitas for one. Food came out in less than five minutes, portions were so large that I asked the waitress if she put in an order for fajitas for two by mistake. As usual, the steak fajitas were sizzling, tender, and much tastier than Chevy's steak fajitas (although for the record, I prefer Chevy's chicken or salmon fajitas any day). With no appetizer, and being very hungry, it was hard to believe that the two of us had trouble finishing the mountains of steak on top of the rich onions. Rice was dry, but beans and condiments were delicious. Refills were frequent, service was delightful, portions were way too big. Can't wait to go back.

The food was plentiful and seemed pretty standard for a Chillis (not bad from the perspective of a vegetarian). I certainly wasn't going to be getting *healthier* by eating here, but that's hardly the point now, is it? :) The staff was quite friendly and very attentive. I'd definitely come back, were I to be in the area again.

Wow! I came in tonight to watch the Giants play against the Cardinals while eating a decent meal. I only ended up eating a few bites because I was so distracted by an awesome game. I asked for a box to-go, and put my entire meal in that box. I left the restaurant forgetting my box. With less than 15 minutes I came back to get it, and they THREW IT AWAY. WTF. The box was FULL! I work at a food&beverage joint myself, and we don't EVER throw away food that is left behind, especially not within the first 20 minutes if the box is FULL. They didn't offer a refund or anything, just said that they threw it away. Never coming back to this place again!

Our waiter was friendly but the food was either salty or bland. I had the margarita chicken and it was horrid. tasteless. I expected really tangy chicken. the rice was "dirty" looking with black beans with water in it. Sorry not eating here again. I had better food at Chili's in Fremont. It kind of tasted like it was pre-made and then reheated in the microwave.

Ok so I've been in Santa Clara my whole life, even before this restaurant, this place used to be great.....now the last 6 times in a row they can't get it right...it's a joke when you order they write it down and repeat what I ordered then you get home and it's wrong I've come to the conclusion they just suck and don't care about their job so I complained and once again their solution is to send me chili bucks! After giving the girl my info so she can send them out I ask to speak to the district manager of which I'm sure is probably 22 or so cause she had the worst snooty little attitude (of course I told her about it) so she got butt hurt. So it's a month later and no chili bucks ...I decided to try Cupertino to see if they could get it right nope they suck too screwed it all up no tortillas for fajitas my sons food cold....the sliders were all fatty so here's an idea hire capable people and pay them a little more. I hope employees read this cause I really think you all suck and should lose your job ...and your district manager shouldn't even have that title ......this is the Pruneridge guy I know you'll remember that cause I told you many times YOU SUCK!

My 6-year old graduated from kindergarten today. To celebrate my family of 4 and my parents came to this Chili's for lunch. We (yes we as in the customers) could not have been worse customers, but the staff at Chili's were fantastic and handled every problem we handed. My husband arrived first and asked for a table for 6, unfortunately before any of the rest of us arrived he got called back to work. The hostess saved the table for us after he left. My mother and 2 daughters (aged 6 and 3) were seated right away. The waitress brought us our drinks quickly. The 4 of us ordered, thinking that my father also got called back to work. No sooner had our waitress left with our order, I received a text from my husband with his order because he was on his way back. We gave the additional order (with special instructions) to our waitress and had no problems. After she had left again my father showed up and needed a menu. So we got another menu from a different server and that server sent our waitress back to our table to get my father's order. So after actually ordering 3 different times our food arrived within a reasonable amount of time all together. Unfortunately I (yes, I the customer again) made mistakes about my husband's special instructions for his burger. Our waitress quickly fixed my errors. Oh I almost forgot, my 6-year old decided after her food arrived that she actually wanted something else to eat. Our waitress, again, handled the situation quickly, professionally, and without any kind of attitude. We were the worse customers-large party with children, special ordering, ordering multiple times, sending food (that we did order) back for something else (and not because anything was wrong with it)-and the staff at Chili's on El Camino in Santa Clara handled every situation we threw at them with grace and professionalism.

This Chili's has the best service of any Chili's I've been to. With that, it's still Chili's. They charge an extra $1 for a salad substitution, and the fattier the food, the cheaper it is. They've also made 'changes' to cheapen the quality of chicken for their salads - and have changed the entire caesar salad to the point of making it much. With that, get the Casadia Explosion Salad. It looks like a disaster on a plate but tastes great.

el camino real in santa clara and sunnyvale has _so_ many great, great restaurants. it also has this chili's. i mean, some people are uncultured, xenophobic, bigoted, racist, and afraid of "ethnic" food, so they'll never know how great all the korean, indian, etc. restaurants are in this neighbourhood. i guess this chili's and the fish market down the street are totally oasis refuges for them. at least the fish market has good seafood. this place, i don't know _what_ it's good for. i honestly don't mind chili's. like, let's say i'm on my weekend commute during the snow months, coming back from snowboarding in tahoe. sure, i'll gladly stop into a chili's in vacaville or sactown. we have better food down here in the silicon valley. you would think that our chili's restaurants would be better, but... *shrug* i was actually kind of excited when my friends planned a group dinner at chili's. i didn't mind a break from our usual korean joints. furthermore, i was thinking that i could find some good grain.free/paleo options: lots of meat and greens. however, i was extremely disappointed. all their appetizers were breaded, fried, and/or required tortilla chips. when my wife and i ordered the guacamole appetizer, i asked if i could sub out the chips with something else. i was hoping for carrot and celery sticks or something like that since the yard house does that. nope. they wouldn't budge. then when i ordered my bacon burger, i figured i could get it protein style, but nope! at best, i could just get it on a plate without the bun. *roll eyes* and my side _had_ to be fries. *sigh* well, i noticed that one of my friends ordered sweet potato fries. i wish i could have had _that_ instead. if anything, i wish i had ordered something more like ribs and sweet potato fries. my wife ordered a grilled chicken salad, and it was nothing special; tasted like something you'd grab at some cruddy grab.n.go shop in the phoenix sky harbour aeropuerto while running to your newly reassigned gate. the server was also so inattentive. i didn't have a place setting for the longest time and barely got my water refilled. as others have said, the servers' main job is to push more alcohol, and that's it. don't get me wrong, i honestly don't mind "american family eating establishments." now that i'm a dad, i have realised that some of these are great for kids especially because they provide crayons and balloons. instead of this chili's, i highly recommend the red robin in the rivermark plaza. they have much better food, much better options for grain.free and paleo, and much better service. for ribs, i would recommend armadillo willy's instead: there's one at homestead and kiely, another at el camino real near sunnyvale.saratoga, and a really good one up in los altos near mountain view off of el camino real. another place that is better than this chili's but in the same genre is the bj's brewhouse in cupertino. you've got options.

Bob had his volleyball championships yesterday and they celebrated their victory with drinks and food. I guess its a tradition for them. Ordered the typical vodka + red bull and then a Irish car bomb. They didn't have glass shot glasses as I didn't have my yelp shot glass on hand so I had to settle for the plastic. I ordered the half chicken half Steak Quesodilla and it was alright. I really had in mind the Fajitas by itself but I ordered the Fajita Quesodilla. So I screwed up. The placed looked typical of any Chili's. You can be sure to feel at a Chili's when you walk in. ACE!

What a s&@!itty service. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I placed a pick up order for their appetizer sampler online. Easy enough! Chose to pick it up at 4pm to beat all the rush hour traffic. I was running 5min late when I arrived. Walked in the "to-go" area and told the girl I was here to pick up my food. She walked into the dining room where a manager( I am assuming she was the manager) was sitting and she told me to go to to the bar to pick it up. I walk to the bar where no server or bartender can be found. Waited a little and walked back to the sitting manger to inform her. She gets rolls her eyes, gets up and walks to kitchen. Finally, the brander girl appears and I tell her about my order. She tells me they are putting it together and told me to go ahead and pay. Keep in mind, that this is already 15 past the time my food was supposed to be ready. I pay up, get my food later and leave no tip! This place was empty(2 patrons at the the bar and a small table in bar area were the only occupied areas). I usually am very generous with my tips (20% for a standard service), but the lack of customer service in this place is ridiculous. The manager should find a job where she can sit down and do nothing ( which is exactly what she did that day)!

I went to this location for lunch today. I tried the lunch special, half sandwhich, a bowl of chili and french fries.. I had to laugh when it arrived..4 french fries, are you kidding me, i get more fries with a small happy meal. I asked the waitress, and she said , its only a taste. I then looked at the drawing on the menu, and counted 16 fries on it. The sandwhich was okay at best, and the chili had so much cheese on it, it was unedible. For $15 definatly not worth the money..

I go here quite a few times. Recently I had the pulled pork and it was surprising good. It was kind of small but still had a lot of flavor. Unfortunately we barely saw the server, and we actually had a late lunch so there wasn't a lot of people there. We waited 10 minutes before the server came by to get our drinks and after that we waited a while to get our food and for her to check on us. Service is normally good so I guess it was just kind of odd no one was really around.

Worse customer service ever! I took my bf here for his bday and our burgers were burnt and our drinks were watered down. The waitress did not offer to replace our burnt food. And I told her it was my bf b-day and she never brought any free desert! No singing.... nothing. We complained online and never heard from anyone. I will never go back again!

Chili's are great - good selection, great burgers, full bar...good customer service. This time I dropped by this location with the fam for a Sunday lunch. Started with the southwest eggrolls which are always great. Went with a mushroom swiss burger and the little girls enjoyed the fries and a plain burger.

Chili's is excellent. The food ranges from decent to excellent (the burgers are great). Service is usually good, though sometimes it can be a bit slow during the peak hours. And the prices are really reasonable for what you are getting.

I've said this a few times, but I don't like going to chain restaurants. We live in the Bay Area, and I know that there's lots of places that aren't chains. However, you can't avoid it ALL the time. This was the case when I went to lunch with an out-of-town colleague when my manager wanted to get something quick but in a sit down environment. We arrived at 12:30 and made our way directly to the bar area. The waitress took our order quickly and the food arrived soon after we ordered. I ordered a Caesar salad and a cup of chicken enchilada soup. It was decent. Nothing memorable. Service was great, and prompt. Our waitress brought out new mugs of our drinks multiple times, and without having to ask. So props an additional star for good service! So, for you Silicon Valley types, this is a good place to grab a quick lunch but make a beeline for the bar area because it's first come, first serve seating.

Just an all around bad lunch experience. Our waiter made us wait way too long before introducing himself and taking our drink order. When he did show up I told him we would like to order drinks. He took our drink order (none alcoholic) and our food orders at the same time. Afterword's it took a while again before he brought our drinks. He pretty much disappeared after that. Refills were needed shortly after and he was no where to be found. When our food was delivered. Our waiter did not make an appearance. It was brought by a server and I think a manager. Two orders included a soup or salad and both were not brought out before or at the same time. We had to bring this to the managers attention. We also needed refills on all our drinks, which had been empty for a while. One order included a sirloin steak to be cooked med rare. It came beyond well done. There was no juice left in the steak. We brought this to the managers attention just before the missing soup and salad. The sirloin meal was also missing the Texas toast. When they brought our refills, soup and salad and the missing Texas toast. They asked if there was anything else. We said we were only waiting on the stead now. They said they would check on the steak. I can't be completely sure about this part, but I assumed they were going to redo the steak when we brought it to there attention, but my sister thinks they had no intention of redoing the stead until after we said we were still waiting on the steak because when the manager returned to tell us that the stead would take a little longer because it was thicker than the original, I think she may be right. It should not have taken as long as it did if they were going to cook a new one from right away. The manager did say he would take the steak off the bill after they eventually delivered it. That was appropriate. I wanted to state that we were there at around 1:45 PM to around 3 PM so it was towards the end of their lunch rush. The restaurant was not too busy. The food was so so and the service was terrible.

This place sucks!!! It was a busy night and the hostess told me it was a 30 minute wait which was fine. It was only my husband and I so we waited in the seating area by the hostess area in front. As we patiently waited, people kept coming and I noticed that people who arrived after us were getting seated! So I wait until our quoted 30 min wait and approached the hostess. She was very rude and mumbled some lame excuse so we left. Will NEVER come back to this establishment! Wish I could rate it 0 stars! The worst customer service!

Alright this is a first! I actually came back to update my review. The place is clean, the staff is okayl, but no joke me and my buddy went in for the 2 for $20 and both had burgers. In about a hour we both started to feel funky. We asked for medium-well burgers, seemed fine at the moment. But seriously we both had the throwing-up feeling. Burping up burger, it was some nasty stuff. So ya beware on that meat thing didn't sit right. Spend the rest of the night on a date with my toilet!!! I still stick to my original comment in someways----- The "WELCOME TO CHILI'S" with the smiling girl in the commercial is still Misleading....

Worst chili's ever. Seated at 7. Had to explain to the waiter the difference between club soda and tonic. No food for 45 minutes. Kids' food was either cold or cold AND burnt. Adult food finally 15 minutes later...lukewarm and just plain gross By then the server knew he screwed up and instead of fixing it, just avoided our table. finally the lead server in the area checked in and offered us dessert (yeah right, if we thought we'd get it by breakfast). Sent over the manager who took all our entrees off the bill. She at least apologized and tried to make it right. But needless to say, I'll never go back. There are so many awesome ethnic restaurants along el camino (plus in n out and five guys) there's just no reason to torture yourself at chili's.

I come to this Chili's a lot. Like, a lot, a lot. At least once a week, and never on a weekend; I am in the bar. I am ordering skillet queso, mango margaritas, and whatever food I can remember the name of through the tipsy haze. The service is usually friendly, fast, and willing to laugh at my god-awful jokes. I've never overspent, or been shocked at the price, because, come on, it's frickin Chili's, dude. I've never waxed poetic about the food, because, again, it's still Chili's. I will say that I love skillet queso, and have dipped french fries and quesadillas in it. I have licked that sh*t off the table. I prefer the bar because the staff is more attentive, and there are T.V.s and the liquor is closer to me. I have been there while local teams have won and lost and that never seems to put a damper on our raucous, raunchy girl nights. I will continue to go there and I will even start checking in more often. In summary, I go there, I eat there, I drink there, and it's always a damn good time. Edit 3/27/15- upped it to five stars. Fuck Yeah Chili's!

That evening we came not hungry at all...First of all nobody says *Welcome to Chilis*,as they always shows on commercial, when we entered. Table was fine. Restaurant was half empty. We made an order for chips and salsa and dessert. Server was very nice young boy,who did his job very well. He bring us our drinks and chips and...hm..salsa? It was looks more like it tomato soup or sooo..Newer seen so wearied salsa. Dessert was fine, but to sweet for me.

I'm sure you heard their 7 under $7 promo...eh...not worth it...all the items except the burger are half portions. If you look at the regular menu, the price difference for the full portion is seriously like $1 more! Jeeez! Not to mention they want to keep you from looking at the menu since its an insert. You come in looking for the special, you see the insert and think "wow! 7 bucks! not bad..." and you stop it right there and just look at the insert. I would have fallen for that if my boyfriend didn't compare prices on both menus. He's smart like that...lol :) Anyways...service was great. We ordered iced tea and our waitress actually filled the cup with ice!! I can't say how much we HATE it when we order iced tea and its like luke warm with 3 or 4 melted ice cubes. She was great with the refills and was quick to get sides of dressing and whatever else we needed. Quality of what we ordered was good. Overall good experience, this is the chiles in my hood so I'd definitely come back. :)

Chili's is Chili's - definitely not haute cuisine. We don't frequent Chili's as often as we used to. S has sensitive eyes and the light fixtures above the tables in the dining room are very bright. The bar area is usually dimmer and easier on the eyes - plus we get to watch the game (if it's on) while we eat our meal. I wanted a salad for dinner and I do like their Caribbean Salad with grilled chicken. What I especially like about the Caribbean Salad is that there's no cheese on it! (My tummy doesn't do well with a lot of cheese.) The service here is spotty. This evening our server seemed especially distracted. S had to go up to the bar for a refill on his soda. Chili's is a good standby when you can't think of anywhere else to eat.

Staying in the Christmas spirit I will stay as nice as possible. The food is what you would expect at any Chili's, not to bad and at a decent price. My issues were with service. Maybe the guy was having a bad night but I probably spent 45 mins. longer there than I should of. It looks like there were a lot of pissed off customers but it's not all his fault there should have been more people working. If you have a short fuse stay away but if you can put up with it then head out.

I love the food but everytime I order food to pick up it takes at least 20 minutes longer than the time quoted. It never fails. And a lot of times there are missing items. If this place wasn't so convenient I wouldn't come back.

I mean, it's Chili's. Come on. Does anyone really have high expectations? Every once in a blue moon your boyfriend is going to be sooo stoked that he got a $20 giftcard for the Chili's/Macaroni Grill/Maggiano's trifecta and a girl just has to oblige. And I won't lie... I love me some greasy delicious Chicken Crispers. I do. The fries are always hit or miss, but they keep the bubbly soda refills a-flowing. He claims to adore the burgers almost as much as TGI Friday's, which says a lot. This Chili's is in a particularly not all that great part of El Camino in Santa Clara which makes me prefer the Mt. View location. But that's all I have to say about that.

I only go here now because they finally brought back my favorite, the cheese sticks! The service is ok to above average from the two or so times I have been here. I usually get the grilled chicken sandwich and the cheese sticks. I wont say it the best food but when your really hungry it does the job.

I give Chili's two stars because when my husband made the mistake of mentioning chicken fried steak at 10pm during my 7th month of pregnancy, Chili's was there for me. Other than that, it's a Chili's, so over priced and boring high fat food. Another interesting night during my pregnancy my husband decided he wanted dessert, since "We won't be able to do this after the baby comes." We went to Chili's because I refused to get dressed up and was in general fat and exhausted. So we get to Chili's, and we were the only table WITHOUT a baby. Good times.

AWFUL! I went here with a group of friends for dinner. I ordered soup and salad. My soup came out cold. I flagged down the waiter and he said he'd bring a new one right out... Then he went to the computer next to our table and sat the soup down there. He stayed on the computer ringing up someone's bill for a good 5 minutes before our waitress noticed I now had no food. I explained the situation to her and she said she'd get me a new soup. Mind you, everyone else at the table is chowing down filling their bellies while I sit there hungry. Well, she eventually came back to tell me that's the last bowl and asks if I want it reheated. Umm, no thank you. It was a cream based soup, and if it was back to being ice cold, who knows how long it has just been sitting back there. No, Chilis, I would NOT like a dose of food poisoning with my meal. Thanks for the offer. Well, then she asks if I'd like to order something else. Well, no. That might have been nice of you to offer 10 minutes ago when I first told you there was a problem instead of you slowly getting to the problem. By the time I reordered and got a new meal, my party would be done eating. So, then the bill comes out. 5 dollars for my mini basic house salad?? Wth. I will not go back again. Good thing there's a grocery store nearby so I could actually get something for dinner.

SERVICE SERVICE SERVICE! The food could be manna from heaven but if the service sux it's gonna effect the evening. Chili's food is good. The southwestern egg roll appetizers, the RIBS (!), the cocktails..... it's a fun place to eat. And the food is consistently good regardless of which location you go to. Santana Row, Santa Clara, Almaden, San Francisco.... it's all good. But the service at this Chil's is AWESOME and that makes an eveing go even more perfectly. It is not hovering and annoying. And you'll never feel neglected. It is friendly and helpful and timing is everthing. Who likes getting the entree when appetizer just arrived? Nobody like wondering if they have been forgotten. Last night (was busy) our server is Luis. He should be cloned. He is wonderful and the whole experience was great, (especially the Mephis Rub ribs). We had a super evening at Chili's and Luis made it perfect.

The place was fine. We arrived and were seated promptly. Service was good and food was served fast. Chilis generally has good customer service though. The food is typical chain restaurant fare. Their salads are good...and EXCELLENT soup.

After hearing everyone singing "I want my baby back, baby back, baby back..." so many times I've finally had the opportunity to try out a Chili's for myself. So every time I've gone to Chili's it's been because of somebody's birthday, and we really couldn't think of anywhere else to go, and this place accommodates larger parties fairly well. But seriously now, you guys want to hear about the food, no? So the food. Uh... yeah... It's passable, but I've knocked it down to 2 stars simply because, it's... well, uninspired. It's one thing to have a simple menu, but honestly, I've thought Appleby's does a better job serving normal food, and that's kinda sad. The ribs honestly, weren't that good, the chicken and fish were overcooked when I got them, and the sides are marginal at best. Maybe it's because I didn't get them with "BBQ sauce", but honestly, the only things really worth getting here I'd surmise are the burgers and sandwiches. Generally speaking, unless it's Red Robin, all that means is that it makes the place ridiculously overpriced.

long wait, long lines. not good for bringing babies, kids or strollers. food is ok but for the size of the bill, not worth it. waiting and waiting was so long.................................. i think after waiting for a table then waiting for the food we were at the 100-120 minute mark. since reading so much about food safety on cnn ive been adjusting our reviews based on data from the santa clara county department of environmental health facility inspection reports. this is to keep businesses accountable for consumer food safety and recognize those who prioritize it. this chili's location had 8 minor violations over the past 2 years so keeping them at 1 star. sccinspections.org/onlin…

In search of a new Chili's I came here. It's okay, better than the one in Mountain View on El Camino. Good buffalo wings, and the entrees were good as well. But still left something to be desired. If you're looking for the best Chili's in the area, my vote still goes to the one in Santana Row in San Jose.

After a recent experience, i feel like i REALLY dont want to be there. lol. or more like i shouldnt be there. lol. i've never felt so scared in my life. lol So, we went inside, jsut me and my youngest sister. i havent taken her out for a long time so i was like hmm.. maybe today. my friend was joining us but she came a little late. ahhah whatever. we go in, theres no welcome to chili's ahhaha and our host person led us to a table. so we just sat. and looked at the menu. this waitress person came and was like hii are you guys ready? and i was like naww we're still waiting for someone. lol. and so she left and we waited. she came back again to ask us what we watned to drink. we told her what we wanted and thought she would leave us alone but she came back the moment my friend came and asked if we were ready. well.. she JUST got here. so how is she ready right? i guess there werent a lot of customers so she'd be more like attentive. lol whatever. we ordered and got our food and stuff and she told us about their desserts. it got me interested but nahhh. SCARY PART WAS, she came back like every 2 minutes and asked if we were ok. i mean yeah we're ok. and then she kept on mentioning the desserts. almost pushing it. hahaha. SO SCARY lol. she had that fierce determination in her eyes to make us eat it. lol. my friend and i were laughing about it. lol. but it was really scary lol. myf riend told me that whenever htat waitress came i would start eating faster and not look up! LOL hahaha. and then she was like next time she comes lets just say "yeah we'll have dessert" with our faces to the ground ahhahahah we ended up not getting the dessert but saying that was just scary! lol. i could tell she was upset and i was like oh crap. hahah. hopefully she doesnt like sock me ahhaha. but it was good. lol ANYWAYS away from my wierd experienvce and on to the food. We had an appetizer of the chips and salsa. I think this was the best value in the entire menu. it was refillable and the chips were crunchy and warm. and only 2.99? thats a deal. i also got the southern cobb salad? yeah.. its more like friend chicken with a little lettuce on the side. i wanted a salad. but what they gave me was more unsalady than anything. My sister ordered the bigmouth huge bacon thing burger. it was pretty good. shouldve gotten one instead of the salad.. whatever. My friend got like a mini burger thing. it looked ok. but it didnt look like it would fill me up. total bill came out to be 30 dollars. hmm.. its ok priced.for 3 people at least. But only coming here sometimes and only when im craving their desserts. im too scared to say no now hahaha.

This is the worst Chili's I've been to. I've been here a few times, and the last time was the worst. We ordered the "Two for twenty" and the service was slow. They hardly refilled the glasses and they brought us a dessert that we didn't even order. Thanks to the waitress for choosing my dessert for me. Go to the Chili's on Coleman instead.

In this case, I think ZERO stars should be an option. Actually, if it were possible to split food and service ratings, I'd give the fod a 2.5-3 and the service a zero, so I'm not sure how to average it... but the overall "dining experience" was perhaps the worst I've ever encountered at a "casual dining" establishment. I used to be a regular at Chili's years ago (mainly the Mtn View and Cupertino locations, not here) but when I went low-carb several years back, places like Chili's are no longer really cost-effective (for example, St. John's in Sunnyvale is a MUCH better option). But I deceided to try it today and have lunch during the 49ers game. Some of my gripes are NOT specific to this location -- especially the menu. Major sections of the menu, especially drinks and desserts, HAVE NO PRICING, and in BOTH this restaurant and the Cupertino site in the past two months, I was quoted one price and charged another both for drinks and for other "undocumented" menu items. (Despite the name AND despite signage in the bar, Chili's no longer lists chili on the menu. They will, apparently, still sell it as a side order, but I was quoted once price [$2.19/cup] but charged another [$2.99].) Anyhoo... so, I ordered the half-rack of ribs combo, Carolina sauce please. "We don't have the Carolina sauce today." Hrm. OK, what are the salad choices (again: most places would state as much ON THE FRAKKING MENU...) "Ceasar or house". Can I substitute chili for the salad? "Uh, that will be another $3.79 to substitute a cup for the salad" Gee, I could have it as an ADDITIONAL SIDE for less and keep the salad. Sigh. Soooo... anyway, the food comes, but the server is WAY to eager to clear each partially-consumed course, requring me at one point to actually grab a plate back out of her hand after she ignored my "I'm not finished with that yet" admonishment. But the biggest annoyance at all was the beverage. I ordered iced tea and icewater (I need the latter because in the past just about every Chili's server has been notably slow at refilling beverages.) I never did get the icewater, though the "iced tea" was itself an approximation of icewater. Not only was the tea weak in the first place, but her method of serving was to fill the glass to over the brim with ice and then cram a little tea into the remaining room. Each subsequent refill request WITHOUT ICE was met with, you guessed it, ice to the brim. I actually went out to my car and retrieved a cup into which to sift enought tea to make a drinkable portion out of, and I got a total of about 10 ounces of actual liquid in THREE REFILLS. More galling yet: once I paid the check (stupid me, I gave a 20% tip despite the "service" to this point, just because I like to stay on good terms with people, although in this case there's not a CHANCE I'm going back), she totally ignored me for OVER AN HOUR AND 20 MINUTES, declining to check on me or refill (fill? once?) my tea. Then, once I finally managed to interrupt her successfully from her repeated IM exchanges with somebody on her cellphone, she managed to give me a refill AND THEN PRESENT ME WITH AN ADDITIONAL CHECK FOR AN ADDITIONAL BEVERAGE. I then poured out the tea into the empty glasses in front of me (which she never bothered to clear) and asked to speak to the manager. After I waited another 10 minutes for him/her, I was told that he wouldn't speak to me outside or in the lobby because "I cannot leave the restaurant premises"). And thus, I am inspired to write my first-ever review.

Two stars only because I like the food. I came to Chili's with my family last Thursday night. The service was awful. She forgot my soup, brought us refills within two minutes of us getting our drinks, so then we had no space on the table. She never checked with us after dropping the food. When time came for us to pack the left overs she brought one box!! I can't say I won't go back, but will say it will be a longtime.

Very casual place, although on weekends might be too noisy. Never had any problems with quality of food and portions are fairly large. Staff is friendly, but sometimes you have to wait for your order longer than expected. Overall, I like this place more than other chains of same type.

This is the spot our friends and I usually go to. It's very rare that we get bad service there. When they accidentally place onions in my fajitas they are always so kind about it and take them out or make new ones. I love their ultimate margaritas, bottomless chips, chicken crispers, fajitas, etc. I've been to other Chili's but it doesn't compare to the Santa Clara one. - J

There's only one thing I order here... The baby ribs and monterey chicken meal. It truly is the best of both worlds. The ribs fall right off the bone and the chicken is as tender and juicy as it can get. I can never finish the meal and always find myself getting a togo box for it. Afterwards, I get the molten lava chocolate cake, which consists of hot sponge like chocolate cake topped with ice cream and hot chocolate fudge on top of that. I'm sure it is pretty fatty, but I'd be willing to give a couple of minutes of my life for it. The service and staff are very tentative, and friendly.

The service is bad...we had a very bad experience with the hosts. The hosts were rude and the manager was not courteous either. have been to this place a number of times but if the place is empty then i guess it is ok. food is ok..

Just walked out of this place. I have never been so upset. We waited for 20 minutes were sat down and then got to see how other people were seated around us were brought drinks and food while we were ignored by every single waiter that walked by us. Never once did they even bother offering us a glance. Finally decided to leave and asked for the manager at the door and all she could say was "that's not supposed to happen". Worst service ever and never going back.

BAD SERVICE! now I remember why I don't eat that this chili's! It's been so long but their service STILL sucks. Took forever to get refills, had to ask another server. They screwed up a salad order, really, a salad order. The server first apologized it took so long for our food because they messed up the salad. But when I started to eat it I noticed it was not the one I ordered. Then she told me that is what I ordered and the toppings come with "that" salad. I was confused thinking maybe I did order the wrong one. But then I see her walk away and grab a menu (she was checking). So I got up and checked the menu... SURE ENOUGH I was right.... she gave me the wrong salad...she comes back knowing she was wrong...but says it's not her fault the kitchen did it and asked if I wanted a new one. At this point I was over it, esp after she insisted that I ordered that salad. BTW none of their salads comes with beans.. but it had beans...WTF... never again...next time I am picking the place...I wish they had negative stars to give....

I have never had a problem with the service here. It is decent, inexpensive food that has large enough portions to provide you with lunch for the next day. Better yet, it is another place everyone can agree on - especially on Mondays when Hobees is closed. Not sure how the wait time compares - since I am usually with a group of friends and/or co-workers, it hasn't really mattered to me. Also, after a really, really crappy day at work, nothing beats a big platter of Chicken Fried Steak and a few margaritas. My heart may never beat again, but at least I'll die in a good mood :) .

  • Mark G.

The quality of Chili's food, in my opinion, has declined in general over the last few years. It's still a bit better than Applebee's, but not by much. I have never had good luck at this location. The service seemes subpar and not quite as "smiley" as the usual Chili waitstaff. The food is quite average and overpriced. If you must go to Chili's, Cupertino or Mountain View is a better bet.

  • Barbara S.

I like this Chili's. The food is always tasty (I especially love their chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes), and their Presidente Margarita is great. I have never had a bad meal here and the service is always fine. On Easter Sunday I went here to eat by myself. I was upset due to a personal family crisis. Ryan waited on me and was so very kind and compassionate. It turned out I did not eat much of my meal and he boxed it up for me. I appreciate his kindness and his smile. He really cared.

I agree with dan m. on this one...the menu isn't great. I had the enchilada soup here it was just ok. Fajitas are good if you are in the mood. But i'm sure you can get better fajitas elsewhere.

coming here i didnt expect much, but with superb service they won me over. came here with a friend because we had a change of heart on where to eat. as usual we were seated promptly and our drink orders were taken. about 10 mins later we were ready to order and our waiter was attentive and ready. took our orders patiently and was sincere. in the middle of waiting for our food we recieved a new waitor because the other one's shift ending, and here we sat in front of a pregnant woman, ill admit i thought we were gonna get a lil slower service but boy did she prove me wrong. our meal consisted of ... -chips and salsa, your basic, got refilled on salsa without even asking! -triple dipper of chicken crispers with all the dipping sauces, buffalo wings, and the artichoke dip. -chilis special of sirloin and honey chipotle baby back ribs cooked perfectly soft and juicy all the way -coke and blackberry lemonade -chocolate molten cake that she made better than a previous one we saw! our waiter was always attentive handling 3 other parties as well as me and my friend. she was so friendly cracking jokes and always talking to us asking us how our food was, if we needed anything and constantly refilled our beverages. the best service ive ever received at any chilis. ps. if youre wondering what that blackberry lemonade is up there, you MOS DEF have to try it, its soooooo yummy!!! and shhh its not on the menu!

What's not to like? Ice cold beer, free soda refills, good food, friendly service, reasonable prices. Funny, in all the years I've been going to Chili's, I've always intended to "try something different this time," but always end up ordering the fajitas. Like the man said, keep your expectations in check. It's not the Ritz-Carlton Sunday brunch.

There was a short wait for them to move two tables together for our party of 7. After being seated, we waited for 10-15 minutes without a server coming to our table. One member of the party got up to seek service, and was told the hostess sat us without telling any of the waitstaff, so it would have been a very long wait had he not sought attention! Two waitresses came to take our drink and food orders. They were friendly and efficient. In terms of the food however...we had to ask for more water and condiments. Once requested, the second waitress stood there for several minutes while the other waitress was helping the other half of our party. Unsure why she just stood there, we reminded her of the order. She said she had not forgotten, but we still don't know why she stood there. My food was also not brought out until we specifically requested it, they had forgotten to bring my burger with everyone else's. I was impressed that the potato soup was vegetarian, and they gave me plenty of crackers to go with it. The black bean burger was pretty bland and did not have much dressing to it as I expected it to. I was impressed that it came with vegetables though, instead of french fries. The server was friendly despite the confusion of who was taking care of us. She tried tracking down all of the different coaster styles at the request of a party member, and found several other staff members to sing Happy Birthday to a guest despite the lateness of the evening.

I find myself always going to this Chili's, it could be because its close to home. I hate how it looks inside because its never bright enough for me, but the chipotle chicken crispers keep me coming. The prices are reasonable (esp. kids meals) and the portions are decent, but once in awhile I get a batch of frys that wouldn't even fill up a toddler. I rarely have problems with the customer service, but there is the one young chick who is just the worst. My friends & I seem to always get her and she has no people skills, she won't give refills until you ask her, she avoids going to the table to check and make sure everything is right, and somehow she always spills one of our drinks. I hate having her as my waitress, its a joke how someone that lame can get hired. Other than that I don't mind that Chili's.

i give it 3 stars ONLY because the food is yummy. However, since i'm such a huge fan of the menu i've been to quite a few locations and every time i go to this location seems like the more i go the lower expectations/standards they have for their associates.

Bad, horrible service! We started to just sit in bar. It wasn't busy, and after waiting for more than five minutes, the server finally comes out, proceeded to to turn her back on us and count her tip from the other table. We decided to get a regular table, and again, a different waitress proceeded to ignore us. When finally caught her eye, she gave us this very ugly look. Never again. Stay away from this place!

The quality of Chili's menu has gradually been diminishing over the years. The staff is at best ok. It's hard to be enthusiastic when the food being served is high priced drive-thru quality. The bright side is the bar is usually always stocked and you can have chips and salsa served as well.

I used to love going to eat at Chili's but this location pretty much ruined it for me. The food is mediocre, and the service is miserable. Nothing like waiting almost an hour to be seated, then another half hour only to find out that the food order has still not gone in.

Went here on a Tuesday night, the place was about half-full. I had the Fajita trio (steak, chicken and shrimp), for $10 (new item promotion). The steak in particular was very good, the chicken was also not bad, but the shrimp was so-so. The service was very attentive and the food came fairly quickly. Overall not bad, but not inspiring. One thing that I really didn't like was the fact that the drinks menu had no prices listed. Would go again perhaps but I think there are better places.

Made my first stop at this location on Sunday night. We were seated promptly, were approached by our waitress promptly after being seated, got our margaritas in a timely fashion (not like lightening, but not slow by any means), our food arrived correct and after a short amount of time; our waitress was very personable and friendly, and we never felt rushed. Overall, it was a typical meal at Chili's as far as my experience goes. As I recently (in the last 6 months) cut poultry (aside from "special" occasions) out of my already meat-free diet, I felt there were significantly less things to eat here, but was totally happy with my selection of their Broccoli Cheese soup and the mashed potatoes, with a Mango Raspberry margarita to wash it all down. I feel compelled to make a list of all of the places one can find Broccoli cheese soup because I love the stuff-and this would rate towards the top. It was REALLY yummy. Totally thick and creamy. Wasn't expecting such a great bowl of soup from Chili's, to tell you the truth. The mashed potatoes were nice and mashey with plenty of gravy. I was tempted to get several other items, as they are my standard Chili's fare: the fried cheese (I LOVE that they don't try to dress it up and make it sound a little fancier by saying it's fried mozzarella-it's fried cheese, and there you go), which I love and also a super secret old school item that is no longer on the menu, but you can still order it: the Chicken Fried Chicken. One might think it would just be called fried chicken, but one would then be wrong. Back in the day, it was on the menu as Chicken Fried Chicken, and they still abbreviate it as CFC when they take your order. You get mashed potatoes and gravy, garlic bread and a mini corn on the cob along with the giamongous piece of fried chicken, so it's a damn big meal. It was essentially the only thing I ever got at Chili's when I ate chicken as a regular course of business. It still calls to me. Obviously, you need to keep in mind that this is casual dining, but thus far, I have never had a bad Chili's experience, and this one was just fine in my book. Have no qualms about going back whatsoever.

This Chili's seems to be a pretty popular spot. The hosts and wait staff are very friendly, and attentive to patrons. The food is average for a Chili's restaurant, and I always leave feeling satisfied if not full. This location has a to-go area, which is conveniently located at the side of the restaurant. So you don't have to deal with the front lobby on busy days.

I have been to this Chili's numerous times and today we went in for a bite to eat since its rather close to my house and I havent ever experienced bad service here. However we arrived and waited to be seated.. we took a seat assuming that maybe the host was busy until he seated a couple whom JUST walked in.. and we had been waiting. I turned to look at patrick like "did that just really happen" so I then announced that I was in "bitch mode" at this point in time because that is NOT good customer service. So the host came back and had a yougn women near him. I asked, can we possible be seated next.. because i mean we had been waiting and what not..when the women cut in and basically scolded me for not "checking in with the host" and that "it was my job to announce to the server that I wanted to be seated". Her name was ZAIRA btw.. horrible service anyways..I do understand the saying "closed mouths dont get fed" however..under these circumstances when the host clearly acknowledges your pressence and still ignores you..I feel enough was said. Zaira basically tried to belittle me and me in shock didnt know what to say..because I didnt understand how she could scold someone for their bad customer service. Patrick then regulated haha..and then asked for the manager , he listened and we informed him of the situation and basically even offered free lunch. However I didnt feel comfortable eating at a restaurant whom just gave us bad service who knows what they would of done to our food. So with that being said.. we left to go eat elsewhere...at the chilis in Santana Row,, where the hostess greeted us (like your supposed to) asked if we would like to be seated and for how many and believe it or not..she even walked us to our seat!!! thats customer service.. and i think Zaira the "exteneded branch of management" shoudl learn a few things.

Went here to grab some food, quick, and wanted to be healthy. The service was really slow and the worst part was that my water glass was dirty! I know it was a busy night, but come on! Anyway, I ordered the guiltless chicken platter, with just chicken and vegetables. I basically got what I asked for, so I can't complain about that. The chicken tastes a manufactured and the grilled vegetables melt in your mouth. For $8.99, I couldn't ask for more.

I was there last night after a long day and just wanted to eat and go home. However that was not the case. As my group and i walked in no one greeted us, we waited 10 minutes before anyone came to the front to realize that us and 2 other groups were waiting. At one point i just was going to get my own menu and seat myself. Then this guy ran out of the back and finally realized that all these people were waiting. He sat us, then told us that him and 3 different servers would be helping us. I never saw him again for the rest of the night. Another server came, asked us what drinks we wanted, and was really friendly. I also ordered two appetizers with hopes that perhaps since i ordered them early then they would be ready soon. However, some other two kids came and were seated next to us, they got their drinks and their appetizer before we even got our water. At one point my brother had to go get his own beer and even though the one waiter that helped us was friendly, his co-workers were LAZZZZZZZY and made him do everything so i think the management needs to rethink things here because i won't EVER go back here.

remember when chili's used to have curly fries? i miss that.. anyways, the burgers here are my favorite!! the cracked peppercorn burger with real bleu cheese instead of the dressing is so good!! sometimes when i am trying to be healthy i will get a salad. they are huge and have chicken on them! the prices are reasonable here. as for the other food, i wasn't wowed by any of it. during lunchtime, this place is packed!!!

Chili's is your typical family restaurant with menu options that include American food and Tex Mex options. This past time I went with the family, we ordered chips and salsa (free refills on that). I thought this was actually the best part of the meal. The chips are light and crisp, and the salsa is delish. For the main course, I got the 6 oz sirloin with roasted avocado. It came with a small salad and roasted garlic tomatoes (which I read as potatoes at first glance...). Overall the meal was decent, and the steak which I ordered as medium rare was rather chewy. Portion size was good though considering my stomach has gotten smaller since living in Japan. They also have this screen on the tables that has a digital menu, and you can check out with credit card and bounce quickly if need be - that was pretty neat.

My husband and I have been going here longer than some of the waiters have been alive. We always smile if they ask if we have questions about the menu or their Ziosk gadget. The best things about this Chili's are that 1) it's super close to home. 2) We know when to go so it won't be crowded 3) you can call ahead and get on the waiting list before we leave home when we know it will be crowded 4) They are open on Christmas Eve and they serve red and green cocktails -- a Christmas tradition for us 4) Their margaritas suit our taste 5) The store is consistently well-managed with only really egregious waits once in while. 6) They have take-out. (You may be getting the correct idea that we go a lot more often than my measly two check-ins might imply). Why only three stars? It's a Chili's. In general, the food they offer is more like a highly processed, highly engineered food-like products -- tasty and so, so salty. I tend to stick with the items that seem the most like real food -- nachos, salmon, chili or soup -- and I do okay. If only they still had the Awesome Blossom, I'd probably bump them up a star. About that Ziosk gadget -- you can order food and desserts from a little computer-like tablet thing on each table. For the smaller booths, I'd be okay if they ditched it. The hubby likes it. You can also play games on it. I stay away from the games because my OCD tendencies come out . I just have to get the "marbles" into the "bowls" as fast as possible and it's a bit suspicious that we always "win" the trivia games. NOTE: We went to a Chili's on our first date, so we will probably always go to Chili's together as a bonding thing.

Came here on a Wednesday night. Accessible and they do have their own parking lot which can accomodate quite a few cars. It was pretty dead, bar area was much busier due to baseball game. Everything seemed clean and the restaurant seems pretty new. I ate the half order of texas cheese fries and southwestern chicken soup. The order of cheese fries was cold and they were all burnt to the pan, barely ate any of them. Seemed like they have been out for a long time or they were freezer burned before heated. My soup which I've never had before at Chili's was pretty awful. It was very salty and I only ate half of it as well. My boyfriend always insists on the queso dip which was the same as every Chilis everywhere and pretty good. But I felt like right when I put my spoon down from my soup and finished my water, my waiter came over, grabbed everything and gave us the bill. Didn't ask if we wanted anything else. I thought they were closing or something but there were plenty of people at the bar. Wouldn't come back, wouldn't recommend. Good thing I had a gift card ;)

Okay food, horrible service. Never coming back. The waiter was not friendly, and we didn't see him the minute he took our orders, he showed up 30 minutes later with the food, and totally forgot about the appetizers we ordered. Didn't refill any of the drinks. Just horrible

Went with my boyfriend. Ordered a burger and pasta (it wasn't hot at all. All warm like they reheat our food.) The food came out quick but the servers mess up my orders. After finished eating. My boyfriend and I had food poisoning. It was just terrible. Never going to be here at this location again.

Haven't been to one of these in years. Was forced to "go with the group". I think the only reason we went here is because they serve every kind of food, yet seem to excel at nothing. Honestly, I hope to never eat at a chilis ever again. Loud, dirty, food tastes very low grade. I knew what I was getting into before coming in here and for anyone who likes to eat good food, this is a place you would never visit. My visit just confirms it again. The one thing they had going for them? The servers were all good dudes that worked hard. Most of my food was on the cold or old side. Fries old, mac and cheese cold. Steak was utility grade meat (seemingly). Anyhow, you get the idea. Avoid unless the pack draws you in. For some.reason, this lowest common denominator seems to please the masses. Good advertising or bad taste?

It's no mystery why chains like Chilis faded at the end of the 1990s. They consistently offer below average service and forgettable food that you can get in Anytown, USA. I decided to give this place a revisit after a decade+ since my last visit but only the menu got a refreshed look. The rest is the same inattentive service. Israel, our waiter, only took our order and we never saw him again. You can blame Fernando Vega, the General Manager of this location, for the poor service. He's okay staffing an entire section of 10 tables with one waiter for an evening. You'll be ignored and the wrong order will eventually come out after 30-40 minutes. The one plus is they now have iPad-like devices at each table to pay so you don't have to sit around and wait another 30 minutes for a waiter to walk by your table. I would suggest you avoid the Chilis chain and try a local restaurant instead.

I was hoping to bring our staff to Chili's for lunch to celebrate a few birthdays. I called to make a reservation, because Yelp says that Chili's takes reservations. The girl on the phone says they don't take reservations for weekends. I said that my reservation was for Thursday lunch. She said, that's the weekend. Is it me or am I missing something? Friday and Saturday for sure, and even Sunday - but Thursday? Anyway, I was left disappointed. Her only offer was that I could call 15 minutes before (for a large party of 15) to ask them to hold a table, but we will still have to wait. What kind of solution is that? Honestly, I checked their website and they say they DON'T take reservations but have CALL AHEAD seating on the weekends. They should probably specify what the weekend is - and correct their Yelp info.

The worst service ever! Went there around 1pm for lunch. We stood there for almost 10mins while the wait staff keeps seeing us but no one greets us or seats us. Then once seated we sat there for at least 15mins and no one came to take orders even though they ask table behind us how everything was. So we got up and left. Sorry but when you are on lunch break it really sucks to waste 25mins of that time just waiting. Won't be going to this location ever again!!

When you hungry and need something fast but tastes good they are the place. We called ahead to save time and everyone in our group walked away full. My favorite is the spinach dip while you wait for your meal. The Mango-Chile Tilapia was out standing. Most of my friends gouge them self on the ribs. The waiter was attentive and we go back to work with plenty of time. This is the place to go for fast, tasty and easy.

I love Chili's for their late night dinners and quick service. I eat dinner here every week. The service so far is very friendly and completed in a timely manner. They topically keep the place clean and free of weird odors. My favorites: Patron margarita on the rocks extra salt (I love the patron shaker) Jalapeño onion strings with extra ranch Parmesan crusted tilapia with mac and cheese instead of broccoli (nothing against the broccoli I just don't like it) Any of the seasonal drinks are always fun to drink

VERY VERY VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE YESTERDAY! Our server was the best! I've heard from my friends that he's a great server and I definitely agree! His name is AC (or however you spell it) He has a whole section to himself and it was super busy, but he apologized and kept everything moving. That's what you call great customer service and a hard worker. The food was excellent as always. My bf and I ordered chips and salsa, the triple dipper with big mouth bites, buffalo wings, and the spinach-artichoke dip as the appetizer. For the entree I ordered the salmon and my bf ordered the steak fajitas. We also ordered the chocolate molten cake for dessert. Everything tasted so good! 5 stars without hesitation for yesterday's experience!

Chilis has a amazing artichoke and spinach dip with thin great tortilla chips. We ended up taking the chips and dip home cuz we were full from our salads. But, when we followed the instructions to reheat the dip and chips I couldn't believe how good they tasted. I would recommend everyone to try this . Great job Chilis Carrie

Wife and kids talked me into returning again after they'd had a decent experience here without me. Service was courteous and prompt. We were seated right away. Our food came to the table fast and was tasty. Their new system that allows me to pay at the table was excellent. One of my previous gripes was the amount of time I spent just trying to leave Chili's after receiving my tab. I'm still gun shy after multiple failed visits to this location over the past few years, but I have taken this off of my 'Hell no' list for now and will give them another try again in the near future.

My family & I dine here pretty often. It's sort of the go-to restaurant when you can't decide what you're in the mood for (since there's a decent variety). Anyway, we came in last Sunday and our server was awesome! I don't remember her name, but she was so attentive & friendly. She gave suggestions on new menu items, but she wasn't pushy at all. When I eat out, I appreciate this b/c I have allergies, so certain foods I have to be very careful about. I ordered the Cajun pasta with shrimp, side of jalapeno cornbread and a Patron mango margarita. DELISH! I haven't been this pleased with a meal in awhile. Everything came out quickly and it tasted so fresh. Our food was piping hot (as it should be lol). Nobody likes lukewarm food! Oh don't let me forget about dessert. OMG the chocolate molten cake is one of my all-time favorites! It's so moist and the fudge & caramel sauce is so yummy with the cake and ice cream. Overall, it was just a great experience and I'll definitely be back.

Okay, this place is just... fine. It's one of those places that we go when we're hungry, can't decide, don't really want fast food, don't want to try something new, and don't want to go far. The ribs are gross. I'm sorry. Personal preference I think. I like the chicken burger options the best I think. The fries are overly seasoned, weirdly. The best part about this place is their pickles/fried pickles. They're house-made and super delicious and garlicky.

  • John R.

Always very busy even at non peak times. Pretty typical for a chilis, if you have not been to one think applebees or tgifs as far as what to expect. Many different menu options and a full bar make it good for groups. Seems to also atract families for better or worse. American food for the most part but they are always switching things up as far as the menu. Parking can be had but you may have to walk a bit depending on when you go. I like it overall, this location gets 3 stars just because it is always more of a hassle compared to less popular locations.

This chilli's is not bad. This is the closest decent place to home that is open late to grab a bite. The service is pretty good here and the food is very good. I plan on checking them out this football season for their happy hour!!! I am a fan.

  • Cindy M.

Not awful, but not exactly something special. Here's why. The menu looks good and half-way gets you excited to order a meal that might be satisfying. Unfortunately, the let-down sinks in way too early for my standards. I guess I should know better. I got sick from eating at Chili's a long time ago. (It wasn't this location, or a location in San Jose). I had ordered a burger (served medium). My bad for thinking a chain like this would ever make an effort at serving quality ingredients. The meat tasted old and I was in pain for the next 24 hrs, but I digress. Be smart I tell myself and stay away from meat or burgers this time. The Tex-Mex bowls sounded really tasty. I opted to order w/ shrimp instead of chicken. What I got was those tiny shrimp practically the size of a thumbnail. Well I guess I expected too much there. Oh well, it was decent enough to finish about half. The rest of the food looked okay and everyone seemed to like it. Let's talk service now. It started out kind of bad, but eventually leveled out. I know people have bad days, but this guy really didn't care about the importance of taking the time to engage the customer (us) or make our time there enjoyable. I mean this isn't exactly a fast food place where little to no conversation is accepted and even preferred. He seemed to be in a rush and the service didn't involve attention to detail whatsoever. When it came time to order, a few people in our group of 6 asked for some feedback on the menu items. The answers were honestly rude in my opinion. When asked what apps were good, he replied with "what do you want"? Every time someone would ask him something, such as what comes on the ----, he would point to the menu and reply "it's right there". What almost pushed me to call the manager, was when my son's girlfriend (who is very soft-spoken and had never been there before) was asked for her order. When she didn't reply loud enough, he sternly looked down on her and said firmly, "What? I can't hear you ma'am". The rush to get through the order and his unwillingness to offer some table-side manner left me frustrated before we even had one bite to eat. Not the dining experience that we needed after a long day ourselves. When all was said and done, I walked out with my foodie nose up and a to-go container that I honestly know I shouldn't have bothered leaving with. Some would say I'm picky. I don't see anything wrong with having standards and an opinion on what makes dining experiences great. So what if I don't care for a place that tries to dress food up and fails every time. Let's just say this. I would go back for the chips/salsa (guacamole is a no bueno).

I blame the margaritas and lack of good mexican food in Sunnyvale on our trip here. We both wanted a cold drink on a hot night and some good food. We got good drinks but that's about where it ends. It was around 930 on a Friday and there was a half an hour wait. Hostess was beyond rude (but maybe that's because I rolled my eyes at her when she told us there was a wait. At a fucking Chili's. On a Friday at 930.) Food was not good. My bacon & ranch quesadilla tasted like a hot dog, and I'm not sure how they pulled that off. Watermelon margarita was pretty tasty as was husband's house margarita. Pretty stupid that they won't let you pay the extra money to have a flavored margarita included in any of their 2 for deals. And chips aren't free anymore.

  • Lexy L.

I only give RACHEL five stars. The drinks were good, and she did the table side guac perfect. Service was quick and we had a good experience. We've had guys tell us that there is no one to do the table side quac because he didn't know how to do it AND we've had an excuse that they were out of quac that day....wtf? But they can give me a pre-made one? WTF. IVE HAD TERRIBLE SERVICE MULTIPLE TIMES and seriously only Chris and Rachel were fabulous. There was a younger asian girl too that was really nice but I forgot her name. CASEY IS AN ASSHOLE. HAD MULTIPLE EVENTS WITH THAT GUY THAT I REMEMEBER WHO HE IS EVERY SINGLE TIME IM THERE. He gives THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. VERY RUDE. HE SHOULD QUIT IF HE HATES HIS JOB SO MUCH THAT HE CAN'T SMILE. He ROLLS HIS EYES AT CUSTOMERS. And has a ATTITUDE. ONE TIME..... He spoke back to me once when I politely asked him that we're ready to order and since we had a big table he literally started to complain that were weren't decided yet and he didn't show up after 35minutes no water no drink orders---NOTHING the table didn't even have forks or anything set up. My friends were fine with waiting, but I asked someone to get our server.....and he finally showed up and said ok "what do you want the kitchen is closing soon" I said EXCUSE ME. you're so rude and such an asshole, we waited 45min to get served, if you checked up on us we knew what we wanted 30minuts ago" I complained to the manager and yelled so loud at him that nearly the tables around us probably heard. Pretty much said "This is the worst customer service." and i got up and left with half my friends. The other half were hungry and just wanted food. whatever. I live close by, me and my co-workers always like to get a drink after being stressed. So I'll be back---but if casey is our server I'm leaving. HINT**** Who ever is in charge..... He's ruining customer service quality. He can't smile. His posture isn't right when he walks around and seriously you want him representing your store? I'm a manager at a Great Clips and if ANY of my staff was treating customers poorly---3 strikes and you're terminated. I would rather be short staffed with good service VS fully staffed with crappy service. Bad service = no customers = no business = no money = no restuarant (thats extreme BUT you get the point) Write him up, talk to him. No improvements? More complains? Write it up. If you don't write it down it never happened. But seriously I heard he's gotten so many complaints.....suspend him or reduce his hours. something.

This Chili's is hit or miss. I've been coming here for years and have had bad, OK and great experiences. Bad waiters who aren't attentive or food that was cold. Servers who remember me every time I come in and know off the bat what drink and appetizers my friend and I order giving us the name of 'The Dr Pepper Guys' sadly she hasn't worked here for a fee years. I have been here for opening, Happy Hour, dinner, late night drinks, Sunday football, Sunday baseball playoff games. Only major gripe is the bar is a bit too small for the amount of people that would want to come enjoy happy hour and a game. I know service establishment had its good and bad days, but with my experiences here and finally getting around to write a review, I give it 4 stars.

This is definitely two star cuisine. The honey ordered the fajitas, which were quite tasty while I ordered the tacos which were depressing. When food reminds you of McDonalds, you know you've gone terribly terribly wrong. The waitress was incredibly hands off after we didn't order drinks, busy but pleasant. The only main negative besides the food was her forgetfulness on some extra tortillas. I wouldn't come here again. I had tasty memories of my East Bay Chilis and it looks like not only has the recipe for the tacos changed drastically, the type of service you can expect has as well. Meh.

I'm glad we had Rachel as our waitress because she actually seems to enjoy talking to her customers. She was very friendly to us and all of the patrons sitting around our table in front of the bar area. She offered refills two separate times and was prompt with both the soda and water. There was no hassle with processing three credit cards either. Two of my friends and I walked in around 5:45pm on a Monday night and were seated immediately. Rachel took our drink and appetizer orders before leaving so we could decide on what entrees to order. My friend has been raving about the new flatbreads for the past three months so we ordered the margherita one since she's vegetarian, along with the fried cheese. It took a while (maybe 20 minutes?) for the appetizers to arrive because the flatbread takes a bit longer to bake. Our drinks were served a lot faster. The flatbread was definitely worth the wait! Thin crust, just the right amount of melted cheese, tomato slivers/green onions here and there, plus ranch mixed with pesto drizzled over the whole rectangle. I'm so getting that again next time! The fried cheese was as expected. I ordered the chicken caesar salad-- nothing special but it satisfied the craving. One friend ordered the big mouth bites with onion strings and our veggie friend got the deep dish cheese pizza and vegetarian quesadillas that has broccoli in it. Big mouth bites with cheese are pretty good and I ordered some for to go. Stuffing them with lettuce is good since the only vegetable in them is onions. For dessert, we had the molten chocolate lava cake, of course. It's definitely easier to finish this with three people instead of two. They were generous with the vanilla ice cream and magic chocolate shell topping. I would go back to this Chili's since it's close to work and our service was great.

I have never written a review on yelp. But that's because I've never been treated like I was tonight at a rest. Took forever to get service then I nicely as possible asked the manager about it and all she said was "we'll get to you." Worst manager I've ever experienced.

This Chili's is tainted!! I had ribs w/ loaded mashed potatoes, and a margarita for dinner. When I got into the car I started felling sick, I even gagged, then when I finally got home I threw up. And no, I'm not drunk off margarita, I'm not even remotely buzzed (they're mostly sugar and ice anyhow). So yeah, it's not alcoholic vomiting, it had to be the food Never eating here again... Side note: My friend had a burger w/ fries and margarita and she's fine. It might just be the rib meat or loaded mashed potatoes.

Just not the biggest Chilli's Fan. Expect them to have a good sports Bar but the do not. TV's not well placed. Really poor chicken wings and Ribs. I would expect them to be better. Do not like the whole layout of the place.

bland food. chilis used to be so good to me but i have not been in years. tasted like frozen food that had been thawed out and warmed up. sorry, this food is pumped with salt and fat and it just is not good. it's basically fast food. food was cold. i see why i stopped going here. sadly these places are not really "restaurants" anymore. they are chains and basically are serving slop. no thanks. i would never go back to chilis again unless forced.

My gf and I ordered salad and a burger, the service and food was just average. The food came out about 25 minutes which took a bit too long. The overall food 4 stars, service 3.5 stars.

This place is a hot spot for locals, the food is typical for Chili's but the wait staff is great. They have lots of TV's for your sporting pleasure, I just wish they had Wifi.

So we used to go to the Chilis on Coleman but have had bad luck with their take out lately. We decided to try the Santa Clara one instead and it was awful. My southwest chicken bacon ranch quesadillas was way over cooked and dry. Did not taste like any bacon or ranch on it. It was awful. My sons chicken strips was spongy and soggy. He would not even eat it. I don't blame him for not eating it. I asked for ranch and extra ranch to go with my sons meal and instead they gave him mustard and no extra sauce. My husband was the one that picked up the order and he said it was chaotic with the take out person. She had no ones orders done on time and did not seem to know what she was doing. I'm never going to get take out or dine in at this place ever again.

What is the healthiest food you can eat? I think most of us would say it is fresh food made from real ingredients that are minimally processed. When I go out to eat, I expect that a chef has cooked the meal that is served to me. That is what I am paying for, right? I am there because I don't want to cook. At the chain restaurant I visited (to protect the waitstaff I will not name it - let's call it Mario's), I ordered minestrone soup. When it arrived it was SO salty that I decided that it was inedible and did something I never do - I complained. When the waitress approached, I said, "This soup is REALLY salty. I know a little about food and I think the chef made a mistake." The waitress said, "Do you love food?". I replied in the affirmative. "Then why are you eating here?" This was not the answer I was expecting :) "I can't change the soup because it is made at our headquarters and we just heat it up. I hate it when customers complain and there is nothing I can do for them." Ummm, okayyyy. Mario's business plan is to make a bunch of cheap food in one place and have their staff just heat up the PROCESSED food that you are served. Try this - go to a chain restaurant where you sit down and order such as Applebee's, Chili's, Outback Steakhouse, Friendly's, Denny's, Ruby Tuesday, Houlihan's, etc. and make a wrong turn in the restaurant. Yes, I am suggesting that you walk quickly toward the kitchen entrance (as if you need to go to the bathroom) and then spend as much time as they allow you peering into the kitchen! What do you see there? Well, I have done this and was shocked to see very little fresh food. There was a couple microwaves, a grill, a deep fryer, and not much else. The staff wasn't cooking, it was tossing prepackaged food together to serve on your plate. I have also watched a frozen food truck with BOXES of frozen hash browns, sausages, etc. unload into a local diner (not a chain). Why am I paying someone to heat up CRAP that I could heat up for myself for a lot less money? The restaurant I went to, Mario's, has this beautiful oven in the center that they use to make pizzas - so, I thought I was going to a place where they actually cook. The kitchen is open and I realized that they are just putting together pre-made dough, sauce, and cheese to make the pies. Nothing is really fresh and even the salads have a topping of mixed lettuces while the bottom of the salad is just iceberg lettuce. Just like Domino's! (except that I am paying a lot more for it!) I have found restaurants in my town that do make things from scratch (thankfully) and I have made it my mission to avoid all restaurants that reheat packaged food and then serve it to me as if someone was actually cooking. I can't believe I am writing this - but go find restaurants with chefs that actually COOK when you go out to eat. I am sure that food will be tastier, fresher, and healthier.

Thursday nights are very crowded, which I was told but didn't necessarily believe until the flood of people showed up around 6PM. So get to Happy Hour early and don't come after 6:30 unless you want to stand around for a while, even to grab a seat in the dining area. Bar staff was very friendly and very attentive.

Chili's chicken enchilada soup is amazing- when I crave it, nothing else will do. Came in last night with a coworker and had a cup, then got the 2 can dine for $20 deal- I wasn't all that hungry and probably should have stuck with a large soup and called it a day, but hey, it was a good deal. Got the onion strings and fried jalapenos appetizer- decent, large portion but seemed really salty. Coworker opted for the 6oz sirloin, I went for the honey-garlic chicken crispers- essentially boneless chicken wings in a sweet sauce. Sides were the loaded potatoes for her, with gravy for me, and broccoli for both of us.The food was generally good, but in the future I'd probably stick with the chicken enchilada soup and maybe get the baby back ribs instead. Though this location is large and they were busy for a Friday night, the wait went quickly- we actually found an open table in the bar area instead but wait was only about five minutes more at that point. What was moderately annoying was to see two or three tables, just in eyesight from the waiting area, that sat empty and uncleared for the ten minutes or so that we did wait. Very odd.

Tonight was not the night at Chili's. I called ahead of time to make reservations for my boyfriend and I at 8. We get there and when of the hostess checks us in and gives us the buzzer. We wait and wait and notice that the people that arrived after us, are getting seated. After waiting for 30 minutes, we get up to ask when we will be seated. The girl asks for my name and she finds me 2 pages under the first one. 5 minutes later, we get seated. The girl apologizes and says the hostess is new. That's a lie. We've seen her before. Our waitress arrives to take our order, but we're not ready since we were just seated. She comes back 15 minutes later. We order our food. We get our food after waiting for another 30 minutes. She told us if we wanted to order any desert, to order it through the tablet. We decided not to since it was going to take long. We paid through the tablet and chose to print the receipt. Just to get the damn receipt took 20 minutes!!!!! Overall, our experience here was terrible! We were here for almost 3 hours! What kind of crap is that? Btw, I wonder if their employees get high with the rats that run across the street from the restaurant.

Went for a beer on a Saturday night with a buddy. It's nice they're open til midnight (I'm pretty sure) and beers are fairly cheap. Nice display of TVs if you're looking for a place to watch a game. Customer service was good.

This review is for their bar only. My husband and I came here last weekend to have a few drinks, we were served by the bartender named Kyle. Kyle was very friendly and patience to his customers, even though it was very busy that night because people went there to watch the game; we were impressed that he even remembered my name when we went back after dinner. He managed to find time to chat with his customers a little bit, making sure we all got all we wanted; this is the service I'm looking for when we dine and/or drink out, we'll be back here when we want to watch some games and relax with a drink or two. However, I sugguest them to keep the restaurant cleaner, especially their restrooms; I saw some tables were not cleaned after customers left because every server was busy with other tables, but should hire more staffs to keep it clean because it's very important for any restaurant.

Well, Chilis is a chain and therefore must be reviewed as such. What I can say is that Chili's may be understaffed during high customer volume times. Our waiter, super nice but really distracted, forgot to clean our table at the bar, didn't give us utensils, was pretty non-existent for refills (I need my crispy coke!!!) and didn't elaborate about what our dinner would look like (I'm not a fan of mashed potatoes...god I sound like a brat). To our servers credit, it was very busy and you can't blame staff behavior if management makes if difficult for them to do their job. Overall, I loved the 2 dinners for $20 deal and I got to enjoy a Sharks game.

Soooooo food was average nothing spectacular, I ordered California chicken flatbread and It was almost like they went to the frozen section at Safeway and popped a flatbread pizza in the oven, ehhhh not worth my money. It took forever to get our drinks, the server was friendly though and seen we were getting inpatient because she assured us they were on the way. However there was one server who was extremely ruuuude. It was the father in laws bday, my hubby informed him and he replied " I don't know who ur dad is" with a sour attitude. Not cool dude.

This is a kind of place which will never be my first choice for Mexican food. I usually have the fajitas or the burgers. Once I had the pasta and it was horrible. It is more of a place where you want to eat and you are okay with the average food. The place has good occupancy during the nights.

I am giving this review for my server Ben! Absolutely amazing service and personality. I was kind of ticked off because I had to wait for about 15 minutes before a hostest came to greet/seat me. Other than that I had a wonderful experinece. Ben was on-point from the beginning! This kid should be promoted already! If you every going to come to this Chilis if its possible ask for Ben to be your service. I guarantee he will take car of you! Best, Anthony

We went here for lunch after a work event, and it was fine. Food was the same as other Chili's that I've been to. I ordered a healthier bowl with shrimp so it came with brown rice, black beans, avocado, veggies. Looked similar to a Chipotle bowl. Service was average. I was happy that we didn't have to wait long for a table for the Friday lunch hour.

If you enjoy walking into a restaurant and waiting 15 minutes before anyone acknowledges your existence, then this is the Chilis you want to go to. The wait is further intensified by the onlookers that are already seated at nearby tables. Hell, a table of construction workers even asked if we wanted to split the table with them, of course that was a bit creepy, but at least it was hospitable. I almost walked out, but was conflicted whether to deal with rush hour traffic or enjoy the presidente margarita that initially spurned my craving to come here. After being seated, I ordered what was to be a nice drink after a long day. Truth be told, I was better off having my dog piss into my glass, that would have been infinitely more delicious and less sour than the shit I was served. Hands down, this is the place to be if you want to feel like a second class citizen and get served drinks that are so agonizing to swallow you will have wished that you just drove home and had the expired soy milk in the back of your fridge. Thank you Chilis for being shittier than I ever could have imagined.

I knew that Chili's in Santa Clara had gone downhill ever since they transferred the awesome manager to Santana Row, minutes before they closed Santana Row. Presumably the patrons around Santana Row won't tolerate food this poor. I have always found the food quality to be unpredictable, and the take-out service was too. But the last meal I got there was the last straw, and I won't be going back if it's left up to me. Especially after reading another review reporting that the majority of their food is just reheated, and centrally cooked. Upscale Micky D's?

This Chili's is one of our go to places for dinner close to home. Normally service is very good but can vary with specific servers or nights of the week. The food is fairly typical Chili's and consistently prepared. The Presidente Margarita's are excellent. For anyone watching their weight, check out their lighter fare options as we regularly ate there while my wife lost a huge amount of weight using Weight Watchers.

We used to go to the Santa Clara Chili's. Why why why do they use 1-2 onions and peppers in their fajitas and get this : 4 pieces of steak, 5 pieces of chicken and 7 shrimp. $17.49 and only 3 tortilla's. We have ordered fajitas 8 times since Aug 2014 and NEVER once was their enough meat for the price. We love their steak and I hope they read this and start serving a FAIR amount oF the meats.!

Three stars for the food; it's a Chili's, there's nothing too exciting here but everything is reasonable with a few good items and some not so good. I'm giving a 4th star for their online ordering. It works well for larger / more complicated orders, and is convenient. Food is generally ready within about 30 mins of ordering. Just park over on the side of the restaurant and pick it up in the to-go area.

Awesome ribeye! Just went to Rok Bistro that opened up on First Street & had their ribeye... It was nothing compared to Chili's ribeye for a little more than have Rok's price. It's juicy and sooooo flavorful. Today was actually the second time in a week that I have come to Chili's for the ribeye. In between, like stated above, I had tried Rok's. I prefer this ribeye a lot more. Only bad thing was the customer service. Today I had ordered over the phone to go. My sister had ordered hers that way as well for her and her husband. We did separate orders. Anyways, when we got there, the woman got my sisters order and checked her out, and I said to the woman, "oh, I also have a order to pick up as well," as she was putting my sisters into a bag. She said to me, "oh! You should've told me so I could have just gotten that too then." Another waiter had just dropped a bunch of water in the hall way where she had to cross to get the food, I wasn't going to rush her into having to bring 6 boxes of food out instead of three. I explained that to her and she said, "we have non-slip shoes, so we won't slip." Whatever, lady. That's no way to speak to your customer. Anyways, you have to try the watermelon lemonade when you come here. Tastes like a watermelon jolly rancher. They have a cup for $3 but I opted in for the GALLON cause I love this stuff for a little more than $7! Worth it to me! Haha :)

I can understand why this chili's has such horrible reviews now after waiting to get seated for a good 10min with everyone ignoring us. Sure it's 20min till closing, but it would've been nice to acknowledge us if the kitchen was closed. most restaurants would still welcome customers even though it's near closing time. the place was practically empty too! WTF?!

I don't expect great food when I go to Chili's. I do expect consistently decent food, service, and cleanliness. The service here is pretty good, but the food is below average. Fries were overcooked. Sandwiches were cold. The rest of the food was blah. As for cleanliness, the restaurant looks dirty. Dirty floors, dirty booths, and dirty tables are a sign of lazy and inattentive management. If they can't keep the visible areas clean, then I fear what the kitchen is like. It's not rocket science to simply deliver a mediocre experience if that's all the patrons are expecting, but somehow, this resturant has managed to amaze me. The ladies room was a disaster! Even after bringing it to the attention of the bartender, a visit 30 minutes (and two margaritas) later, still yielded no tissue in any of the stalls! I ended up walking to Starbucks (where the facilities are always well maintained). If only zero stars were an option... L

I don't know what to say about this place. First of all, the food is generally good. One issue I have is the menu doesn't change much. My main issue is the incompetent to go service. I have waited longer than usual waits and many many many missing or wrong items. I have received comps for most issues, but they don't seem to change. I would rather spend my money on a place that gets it right. This last time was probably my very last time. As simple as an order can be, still missing an item and another item was missing that I had to wait 5 more minutes. Left a negative comment again and got a call back from a district manager. Why should I call back now? Unless you want to comp multiple meals so I can test to integrity of service over time, I really don't need another song and dance. It sucks that they are so close and can feed my family in one stop.

Came here for happy hour, and it was popping! Grabbed a cozy booth, but it was really loud with all the conversations around us. We were promptly tended to, and their drinks for HH are various margaritas and beers. Since we had just eaten, we did not indulge in their cheap and yummy but bad foods. We both settled on mango margaritas on the rocks since it sounded refreshing. For $4.50 they were HUGE!!! But way too sweet for my taste (should've just settled on a classic) and did not get a buzz at all from guzzling it down. Boo. Was too full to order another so we paid our tab and left. Overall, great service but the drinks can definitley use some more alcohol!

Service was horrible. We felt like we were an "inconvenience" to our waitress. We had to flag her down for a refill. And she brought our check before we were able to order dessert. Just disappointing. And the women's bathroom was in need of some serious attention.

I love Chili's and have been going to this one for years, but the last 5 years this location has been going down hill. It's probably time they tear it down and start over! Anyway let's start with why the one star. I came in for lunch and ordered a hamburger and soda from waitress Audrey (the worst waitress ever) it took her 45 mins to bring food out and order was wrong. When I told her the order was wrong she just stood there and stared at me. I told her to bring me the check for the soda and the manager. I received no apologies from Audrey just a stare down! The manager came and apologized but charged me for the soda!!!!! Who does that??? No worries I drank the soda so I'll pay for it but who the hell handles customers this way??? This Awful Chili's does!!!

After visiting Chili's over the years I have noticed that there is an improved menu. I always liked the look and feel of the place. The bar area is a good size to hang out and get some chips or wings with a beer. The margaritas come out of a slurpy machine and have a great texture but are still made from a mix. It appears you can actually order a medium rare burger now. I guess they fired the general council at corporate. Score: customers - 1, lawyers - 0

Normally we complain when we encounter bad customer service. Yet, I have high praise for the Chili's restaraunt by my house on Lawrence and El Camino. First of all, the cook, Miquel, knows my salad with all its "Hold the's" and "Could you add's." You can tell him 'I need a Shane's Salad," and he'll get it right everytime. Secondly, the bartender who puts my order together has comped me fries and treated my kids to free drinks while we wait. And today, they ran out of carrots and cucumbers that I have added to my salad, so the manager comped my whole meal because he knows "Shane's Salad" comes with added carrots and cucumbers. The take-out workers know my order and are very attentive and make sure it comes out right. Nothing but love for my Chili's. Glad they're in my neighborhood.

This isn't like the place I crave. Went here with coworkers to celebrate a birthday. The food took an extremely long time to come out. Not sure if they were just under staffed that day? Or if that is normal? Kudos on their fries, they taste great. For some reason I think if you can fry, then you're worth staying open. Some places just can't get it right and then you end up with a tummy ache. Not here, you're safe. I ordered the Santa Fe salad, split with my coworker. That was more than enough for me. My friend had the chili, and he said it was really good. Some of us ordered their happy hour beers, but the catch is, I think only 2 beers are at the low price listed on the HH menu. Mine was like $2 more. Horrible! I wish the HH menu was out in the open with their prices and not so sneaky.

This place used to have great service and great food! you can always find something different to eat here and it will usually be a good choice! They are known for their fajitas which I do recommend to those that enjoy them! I used to come here once a week to catch up with a group of friends but my last visit here wasn't as good. The service was very slow and it wasn't even that busy since it was a Wednesday night. I usually get their crispy chicken or grilled shrimp tacos. The presentation and portions have changed drastically compared to the last time I have been here. Before their portions were decent and served on a big plate, but this time the tacos were served on a small narrow dish, the side of rice was just thrown onto the plate and the beans were served in a to-go soup cup placed on top of the rice. The tacos were also very dry and hardly flavored. My son also ordered his usual cheese pizza from the kids menu that used to be very tasty, thin crust and about the size of his head but is now as small as his hand, and has a thick crust (almost like a deep dish) which he wasn't too fond of. Overall not the best experience and probably wont be back soon.

Got here at 9:30 on a Monday night. Hostess was showing someone their table. Came back and asked "Two?" No "Hi" or " Welcome to Chili's." She seated us at a sticky table. Tables around us didn't look any better. There was a family grouping of eight next to us and behind us a party of 4. No one else in the room, so a quiet night. A waiter come by and say he'd be right with us. Two minutes later a waitress said she'd be right with us. Not sure who was supposed to have our table, but the waitress came back. She announced they were out of clean silverware and would get some. Odd. I ordered their new Watermelon Lemonade and my husband got a Coke. His had a ton of ice. Mine was so watery. Tasted like watermelon water. No lemonade flavor at all. We ordered the 2 for $20 deal. The appetizer came out 6 minutes later. Chips and guacamole. Came with the runnyist salsa ever. It was like oil. Didn't stick to the chips at all. Guacamole was mostly tomato. Twenty minutes later, our dinner came out. Husband got the Cajun Chicken Pasta. Not much to it. Most of the pasta was plain. I got the Chicken Fajitas. They now put their fajitas toppings in a "condiment tower." There's that oil "salsa" again, sour cream, pico de gallo, cheese, something with one jalapeño, and guacamole. Fajitas at Chili's usually come with lettuce, but there was none to be found. Chicken tasted like it was frozen. No taste, and it was a rubbery consistency. Too weird. I did not enjoy my meal at all, and I was starving from not eating since 6am. Doubt we'll be back, even though we live within walking distance.

I agree with the overall comments on Yelp about this restaurant. Food is good but the service is mediocre. Last time we visited, part of the fire alarm system kept beeping. We were there near their closing time and an employee commented "Oh, so that's where that sound's been coming from today". Really? It took the employees all day for one person to even care enough to track down the location where a really annoying loud beep was coming from. Heaven forbid a actual fire ever broke out with the fire alarm and detection system malfunctioning. They hire servers who are just a notch above fast food cashiers and it shows. I'll be nice and give them 3 stars because the food is good.

I was gonna give them two stars but not even the service deserves it. Bad food! Greasy food and low quality. I got a stake and it had too salt and swimming in grease. We asked for a dip with the appetizer and never arrived. I will not come back here never again.

we ordered from the take out and as usual the food was improperly prepared 1/4th of the order was missing and it wasn't apparent until we got home because the food boxes were all labeled correctly and on top of that all the food was cold. this isn't the first time that food from this location was like this.i wish i had learned my lesson a long time ago.i do not recommend this restaurant for anybody.in fact i recommend that you drive right by and go to a different restaurant .there are plenty close by.this revue is for take out. I have eaten here many times and the food and service have been good.

Service was really good! My server was very kind and patient when I couldn't decide what to get. The food itself was pretty bad. Maybe it was my mistake for getting a burger here, but the patty seemed like something you could buy prepackaged and frozen.

So my boyfriend and I just left. Service: Ehh, I felt rushed and my cup wasn't always filled. Food: My steak was awesome! I did the 6 oz. sirloin, it was perfect. However, I added the full order of shrimp as a side for us to split but it was cold as soon as it got to the table not including the fact it wasn't that tasty. My bfs fries were also horrible, the Texas fries I believe? Then when we told the manager he wasn't sympathetic at all, he took off half off the shrimp (of course since it was more expensive) and then he took off the fries completely. Would I come here again? Probably not.

This Chili's was going down hill, at murderous speeds---until recently. It used to be bad food and crazy bad service, BUT now I love coming here again! Went in on Superbowl Sunday around 630pm, 1/4 of the restaurant filled PLUS a fully filled bar area. I got great service left and right, our server was named Billy? I could see workers hustling and never missing a beat! Who cares if it was for other tables, I was impressed. Our server was attentive, on point with those strawberry lemonade refills, smiling and I couldn't have asked for more. We were brought our food by a very kindly older gentlemen. He seemed so sweet and funny and his service showed he really cared. The food was delicious, and I ordered my favorite chicken fried steak, but I feel they may have accidentally over salted it! It was pretty tough to get through! But everything else was as good as I remember it, save for the 10oz steak my friend ordered, it may have been even better tasting! The only other misstep was the lady who showed us our tables. There was no hi, just some exasperated glances while standing in front of us then finally when I stared at her long enough and raised 2 fingers she asked: "Two?" nodded at us and took us to a table. She dropped the menus and and said nothing else that I can recall. She was the only one I saw looking angry or upset, but she did smile when chatting with a few coworkers. And normally I don't mind people cussing even during business hours, but after seeing her as the only one who barely did anything, standing around and then loudly talking about how she couldn't wait to go home and throwing some "f*cking" in there about the game, next to my table: I only hope management can see the people who really deserve praise and raises while others might need a little more oomph and a little less b*tch face in their customer service.

So I went on a Sunday afternoon with two of my girlfriends and I was extremely shocked how slow the service was from the kitchen. It really isn't the fault of the wait staff, but the restaurant wasn't even fully seated, but a lot of the managers and waiters were saying that it was really busy at the moment. If you can't even do a lazy Sunday lunch I'm not sure how they even manage to do dinner rushes. The food was quite mediocre for my taste I got the appetizer sampler where they took my order wrong and gave me 2 spinach dips. Who asks for 2 spinach dips in a sampler? Overall I was pretty disappointed with the food and the service. I think if you have a choice, choose to go somewhere else.

Easy go to . Good food n service at good prices. Was not busy and everything was quick. The enchiladas were tasty The Buffalo Chicken salad was good as always.

This review is for the Santa Clara location Friday night manager Sal. The flatbread pizza with garlic aioli was awful. It tasted like mayo on pizza. We kept quiet and didn't eat it but let the server know it was gross. She wanted to return it for another item but the others at the table were done so we asked if we could exchange it for the cookie instead. The server was so sweet and took the uneaten pizza to the manager to ask about the exchange and the manager refused. Keep in mind 1.5 pieces were touched oF the whole pizza. The server felt awful. So an awesome review for her but for Sal you blew it on customer service.

Wish they had one in Snohomish County Washington. Had to fly all the way to California to have a burger. It was very good and I would go back.

Service and quality of food has definitely decreased over the past couple of years. Last time we were there it took almost 2 hours from the time we sat down to the time we left...and it's not because we were talking.

I don't really know what to say about this place because it such a well known franchise already. So if you come here, expect to get good service with mediocre food that you probably could have cooked at home yourself... I do want to say that I wish they would clean up the menu a little bit. When I come in for lunch, I expect there to be a separate menu for lunch specials and shouldn't have to dig all the way to the back to find it.

Stood at the door for 10 min and no one ever sat us.. And it wasn't even busy so I gave up and finally left and went to Bjs, where the customer service was outstanding and we got acknowledged as soon as we walked through the door, maybe the chilis employees should train at bjs for customer service so they can see how it's really done.. Get it together guys

After a long day we chose chilli's for some grub and drinks. Entered around 8 and were told that I would take around 35-40 mins to get a table. We were a bit hesitant because we had the baby with us but decided to wait. The wait ended up being less than 25 mins. Got seated and the waitress was there with our drinks in no time. We ordered the egg roll appetizer which wad bomb!!!! So good. But the after crickets...... Food silence..... The kitchen was so slow to get our entrees out. Almost an hour. I know its Friday but we got sandwiches. The waitress was always making sure we had refills and apologized for the wait which was fine because our baby was distracted with a balloon she gave her. Thank god for that. :) Meal came and was decent dinneresque meal. Drinks we very generous with the ratio of alcohol and mixer.

DELICIOUS watermelon margaritas. Absolutely scrumptious and juicy. Great fajitas. The service is better at the bar area than the table area.

Waited an hour for a table for our large group and once they got the table ready for us they gave it to another group that just got there -- very rude manager -- won't be going back

When you walk in and see countless empty tables, but are told you need to wait 15 minutes to be seated, the feeling you receive is not entirely the best. The service, when we finally did get seated, wasn't too bad. I think I'll stick with the Milpitas restaurant, and only for the lunch time hours...

If I could give no stars I would. Went in around 3:30/3:45. Wasn't busy at all. We were seated immediately. Watched 3 different servers walk by and look through us as if we were invisible. After waiting awhile we got up and left. I called the manager to let him know what's going on. All he said was sorry but it's probably because of the shift change. How is that my problem? Clearly it was since we couldnt get service. HORRIBLE service.

Can't go wrong with a "Coronarita" here!! Wifey ordered the "Rita Trio" that was pretty good too. Have that with "Artichoke Spinach dip & chips. staff was coo!! Got to use that little gadget on the table to order a "Molten Chocolate Cake" to top it off. What a night. Will be back more often for that!!

Worst service that I've ever had at a Chili's. My boyfriend and I got sat by the kitchen but for some reason we were repeatedly ignored by our waitress. She'd walk by to go into the kitchen to get something for another table abd instead of stopping to check in on us and I don't know bring us our drinks that we had ordered 20 minutes before or take our order she repeatedly ignored us. Then she finally came and took our order, still no drinks, and then we waited another 20 minutes before we got our food. She never even came back to give us our check so we had to use the new electroic device they have ob the table to pay. Worst experience ever.

It's your run-of-the-mill Chili's (translation: forgettable and in the same vein as every other generic American "casual" chain restaurant like Applebee's, Outback Steakhouse, etc). The food itself is decent enough for the prices they offer. I actually like their 2 for $20 dinner options and my roommate and I actually order off there when we go. The two stars is primarily for the shady practices we witnessed with regard to gift card payments. Of course there's a chance that I'm way off on this, but I'm at least fairly confident that the server swiped my gift card twice, thereby reducing its overall credit value for our bill and requiring me to pay about 4x as much for dinner than I had originally thought I would. Again, it could be my mistake or maybe...

Came in on a wednesday afternoon, it wasnt busy at all, we were seated fairly quickly but after waiting 30 minutes no one ever came to take a drink or food order, and all the servers were just chatting it up by the register waiting for their shift to end. so we left without ordering a single thing

Ok, so we went with the family to this Chili's for a Saturday Lunch. We were greeted right away and given a table. Firstly, the table was not cleaned very well. Had to wipe off all the food debris since we have a toddler. Secondly, had to wait for 10 minutes to even get acknowledged by the waiter. He came and said that he will be right with us. We waited another 10 minutes, but heard nothing. We had no choice but to walk out of this place completely dissatisfied. This is the second time this has happened. We experienced a longer than average wait time to be served the week before. It just took too long to get anything. Looked like the wait staff was overloaded with too many tables to handle. Love the place, and the food here. But, the service time is just disappointing. I don't know if this place is understaffed or we were unlucky. I don't think I would go back here again.

I love their Mango Iced Tea & Strawberry Lemonade even though the Mango Iced Tea tastes unsweetened sometimes. My favorite entree had to be the 'CHICKEN CAESAR PITA' but they recently discontinued it. Last visit here I tried the Chicken Club Quesadillas but wasn't a big fan of it. My BF & I ate it next day for leftovers & it still tasted fresh so I guess it was okay, but not something I would order next time. I'd still come back here for their South Western Egg rolls & Country Fried Steak though.

My Mom and I came here for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We were seated immediately upon entering the restaurant. We normally don't come to this particular Chili's but the closer two to our home closed and we had a hankering for their avocado burger and southwestern eggrolls! Ian, our server, came and took our order. When we mentioned that the avocado burger was removed from the menu, he ran to the kitchen to see if they could make it. Success! He brought our drinks and appetizer in a good amount of time. Lunch felt nice and relaxing, not rushed. He split the avocado burger for us to share and made sure there was plenty of fries on our plates. Delicious! During lunch, we noticed another customer complaining about their dish. No matter how many times Ian apologized and tried to take the plate to make her a fresh one, she refused his help. I felt bad for him, you can only do so much if the customer decides to be difficult and not let you attempt to remedy the situation. Overall, we were very satisfied with our lunch here. If you go into this establishment, I highly recommend you request to sit in Ian. He's a great server who takes his job seriously and makes sure to have your meal be as pleasant as possible.

Short & Simple The good: The host and waitress were extremely nice and attentive. The food was made perfectly and was very good. The bad: Party of 6 and they decided to seat us at the smallest table ever we had no arm space and the all the food took up most of the tables. It made no sense because the place was kinda empty and our table was filled with 3 appetizers and 6 different meals the table they seated us at was best for a party of 4.

Service here is spotty. There is usually 2+ people managing the host stand and mass confusion. Just accept it, and it'll be okay. Also, don't try to order to-go. This service needs a definite overhaul for this store. Have tried it several times, and each time somehow a huge flub. During our last visit...We came here because I was craving a burger. And the burger was awesome. Probably the best I've had in a while. The meat was good quality, not over-cooked and I was super pleased. I also had the skinny margarita and loved it! Server was great as well. Although it seemed like he was high on something really good. Nevertheless, he was attentive and friendly.

This Chili's is always a hit or miss. Not with the food but with the service, everyone is completely sweet and helpful but it seems like they're usually understaffed. Whenever I come here I always sit at the bar with my friends to avoid the wait for a table, there's normally only one server taking orders and also bar tending. Makes it difficult to get your food on time, refills, and if you need extra napkins or anything. Other than that, you can't go wrong with their 2 for $20 deals.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. Long wait, poor service and on top of that...they brought out cold food! Don't even bother coming. One of the waiters excuse was they were "slammed". Not my problem. Chilis...step your game up.

I had a really weird craving for the type of food Chili's/Applebee's serve, so in short something unhealthy and Tex-Mex style. K.N. and I were served by George who was all smiles since he and K.N. actually went to school together, we were seated quickly and left to look over the menu. I grabbed a Strawberry Lemonade and the Honey Chipotle Crispy Chicken Tenders, which came with a cob of corn and fries. The food was good, hot and fresh tasting. I was particularly fond of the Honey Chipotle glaze on top of the chicken since I was anticipating it to taste similar to Honey BBQ. It was pretty good to dip my fries in too! George was attentive during the whole meal and saw us out the door. Quick service, good portions, great food. Let's just say I left happily! :-)

I love Chili's because I travel and sometimes you want something consistent. I was home after 3 weeks out of the country and wanted something easy for lunch. Well I got lunch and a huge disappointment in service. I will start off by saying it was NOT busy. Not that busy forgives poor service but I think I would have been more understanding. It started off normal. I was greeted by a perky hostess which showed me to my seat. I waited 13 min to be approached and asked about drinks. I ordered a sprite. I told her I was ready to order but she walked away and after what seemed lengthy she came back with the Sprite. Then walked away without my order.... Ok, more time passed and my waitress came over to get my order. I ordered an app and salad. She asked if I wanted them brought out separately. And I said yes. My sprite was empty, I asked for a refill. (No refill bought) I waited but No refill came, my app and salad came out together. I once again asked for a refill that never came. Right behind my delivery person came my waitress to see if everything was ok. I told her it had just come out and that I didn't know yet. And asked her for my refill. She sat down my check, never brought the refill and I really would have liked to tell her she brought me the wrong salad and the chicken on it was cold. Alas, she never returned for me to tell her. I don't know if salads got mixed up or not. I likely would have asked to speak with a manager but never had a chance. I left cash (and yes still left a friendly tip because i was waitress once upon a time) Will I eat at a chili's again? Likely. Will it be this Location? Doubtful Will I ever take friends or recommend this location? No, and will probably recommend avoiding it.

Growing up in the area, this Chili's has always been a hot spot to meet up with friends or go on dates. This location is nicely positioned by a major express way and the good El Camino Real. I've never been to this place and not have it popping with people. Back in the day the it was all about the Grilled Fajitas or the greasy Chicken Tenders with their somewhat healthy honey dijon mustard sauce. These days I tend to always stick with their burgers which are pretty flavorful but can be a lot bigger in my opinion. The sports bar is centralized in the middle but they're definitely in need of a Flat Screen TV upgrade all around the restaurant aka Buffalo Wild Wings style in order to draw more consistent groups of sports fanatics aka myself.

Food is like Chilis and no unknown issues there but it is really the service that needs improvement Service was bad - did not bring the appetizers until after the Entree Great location they upsell you from $ 20 deal to $35 including Margarita

Garbage! Went there yesterday with my girl and it was terrible. She ordered the fajitas and i the triple dipper combo or whatever the fuck they call it. It wasn't that packed but literaly took them 30 MINUTES to bring the food. The mini burgers were burnt, the boneless chicken was cold and came with only 3 pieces and the SW eggrolls looked like the were put in an oil pan at least twice! The server was cool he said he spoke to the manager but he/she never came to our table! Needless to say I didn't pay for that shit. Btw i asked for there wifi passcode and the bartender said they only have it in the office? This is the BAY everyone and their grandma has wifi but weak ass chilis has it obly in thier office?!!?! Never going back and will tell all jy people to never go there again.

I'm actually a fan of all food, including chain restaurants, so I have to say YAY to Chilis. I love Chili's food in general, especially the burgers, ribs and appetizers. But I'd like to stay focused on this particular one that I've been going to recently. It's in a great location for me because it's on the way home from school, but close enough to home where I can unwind and have a cocktail. The food at most Chili's is always great, it's just at this one in particular.. well, let's just say that you should get too excited to go if you plan to have ribs. They seem to always be out of them or maybe they are hording them for the later crowd. I don't know, but that's a bit annoying. Luckily, they have yummy burgers and stuff to make up for it, or else they would be feeling the wrath my tummy. HUNGER GET WHAT HUNGER WANT! Moving on... Service is great and they are always asking me if I need anything or if everything came out okay. They got my order wrong once and took it back, made it right and than gave me a free drink for having to wait. So that was pretty cool. There is usually a lot of commotion in the bar area when there is a game of some sort on, so that's always fun.. but there are two sections of the restaurant that are fairly distant from the bar area, so that's nice for families or people that I don't want to hear the noise. All in all, I give them 4 Yelper stars of awesomeness. It's a nice place to kick back, relax and enjoy your meal time.

Myself and my PIC came here pretty late after shopping in Mountain View. We were seated right away and I was surprised it was still very busy. I guess being a Friday night and so close to Christmas people are out late and eating later. Anyway even tho they were busy we were served pretty fast as well. Our server was quick and attentive and she answered all of our questions. Food came out fast the side salad was huge didn't finish it. The steak was done the way I wanted it, my friends fajitas looked good she said the chicken was really moist and she enjoyed it. the only thing we didn't care for was the

I came here for a late lunch and it wasn't very busy. But, it took 15 mins after being seated for the waitress to arrive to get our drink order. It took her another 15 mins to come back for the food order. The place was not busy at all considering that it was after the lunch rush. It shouldn't take 30 mins to order food after being seated. I ordered a burger and it arrived with lettuce that was very wilted. I was never able to complain because the waitress never bothered to come back to ask about the food. I paid the bill using the tablet and left without ever seeing the waitress again.

The boneless chicken wings made me sick after i ate them, hella sour. you get free chips and salsa at the bar! and it comes with 234234325 pounds of salt too! mmmmm the margaritas come from a slurpee machine.... and everything is overpriced! unless you get it at happy hour! ONLY reason this place gets 2 stars is because staff was nice and the bartender was cool. but then again its a chillis what more could i expect? PASS

This location is really bad. The Sunnyvale/Santa Clara one was not to par for Chilis. Came around 1030pm.....Friday night....service was crappy....waiter didn't even know items on menu...had to check on 2 things...to make sure they still offered them (menu said they are avalible). My chicken Fajitas came out w. Just chicken and tons of grilled onions on the skillet??? Margarita was a different color than what I'm used to at the other location...looked foamy and creamy....had to ask if they added dairy or whip cream. Anyways I will for sure eat at Chilis again...just not this location. This location need serious help w. Staff. **** Also, what's up w. The signs posted in the parking lot?? Food here may cause birth defects?? WTH?

Tons of seating on Halloween night. Hubby ordered a burger (dry and not much flavor) and I ordered the chicken sandwich (chicken was juicy) with fries (average). Quick service. Plenty of parking.
